I like the idea of the mod, and for some reason the shadows on this GLSL Shader works, while on the other it doesn't. Just a few things that bug me:
- Sometimes the shadows are cast in the air, resulting in a dark-cloud like appearance.
- The fact that you can see shadows through your arm.
- Sometimes the shadows are jumpy while moving
- There is too much contrast. I feel as though it is too bright!
Other than that, very good job! I look forward to further renditions.
Guys, when you download the fixed link tell me if your shadows have beautiful filtering, and if they don't move, and if SSAO is back. JUST to make sure I didn't mess it up again. :tongue.gif:
Sorry guys, I had one more mishap, realized that shadows were still flickering. Try the download again.
ATTENTION, in case you missed my last post, download 1.1 version from the original post and re-install. I gave you guys the wrong shaders. Everything should be fine now.
That's it, I officially have lost sanity. Too much programming and too little sleep can make you do the dumbest things.
because the mod creator made a misttake and uploaded the wrong files (with way too much motion blur, interferring with dept of field in a bad way, making it look VERY blurry, sicne shadows are also moving while you are moving), causing a lot of motion sickness in here.
Yeah, as i JUST read.
I....think i'll come back in a few days... or weeks...or months...

Keep it as a separate DL called the drunk version.
Thanks for the fix, i knew there was something up with that flickering..
Anyway, looks amazing:
Thanks! Since I can access a world time variable, I am able to modulate shadow intensity based on time. So, night time will look much better when I get that going :smile.gif:

I have an error with my minecraft. all the shaders load but not the textures. how do i fix this!
Try putting these shaders into minecraft.jar/Shaders and see if you can see textures. No shader effects here, I think, at least not much. If that works we can work up to adding my shaders.

Ok.
1. Can you upload only the shader files themselves and not the whole installer? Now having to install the mod twice because I thought there'd be an easy file download to copy paste here.
2. Could you get bump and specular mapping up and running?
Great shaders though.
Has anyone got all the settings at the best quality and having a good frame frate?
And also, has anyone worked out the best combination of settings that gives out a good framerate, without sacraficing the most necessary visual effects?

I fixed it by manualling installing GLSL shader first then your mod.
