very new to minecraft on pc or pc in general. I am using windows 10, 64 bit, minecraft java 1.12.2
I am running on forge. I had no resource pack so that does affect it. I am running seus- Renewed 1.0.0 and optifine 1.12.2 HDU E3, have tried C6 too as I dont know what the end parts mean and was wondering if that was what was causing the problem. I follow all the instructions for downloading and all the instructions if it was still showing vanilla then it turned just like this.
hi everyone, Im hoping someone can help me out with seus v 11 shader pack, I have just started using v11 which looks and runs fantastic on my pc but i have a issue with stained glass pains looking like water effect. Does anyone know how to fix this in the shader files and make it look like regular glass again its very off putting to look at right now and have had no luck finding a fix online. Any help would be much appreciated as im not experienced in this
It's normal, it was wanted like that so it's not a bug
I advise you to play with the Seus Renewed which is much better than the Seus V11
HI, i really appreciate all of that work, but every time i use this shader pack in all versions, every object that should radiate light is too bright and, during night or in a cave it's almost impossible to play because i could seriously get blind. Is there any variable to modify or something that i can do to fix this?
Great shaderpack, by far the best out of the others I've used in terms of fps, quality, low-bugs, etc. The only question that's been bugging me even since the previous iterations is why is the snow and water scared of the sky? They show up on the font of blocks, but not the sky.
Quick question: This does work with Optifine 1.13, but is it not fully compatible? I noticed some compatibility issues, like the sky behind stained glass is dark, and water is also dark no matter what, neither of which seem to happen on 1.12
Sorry for the double post, just a quick update. I only just noticed after rebooting Minecraft that this message popped up when I tried to use SEUS Renewed 1.0.0. again. I guess I must of missed it the first time as I had the display toggled off but It fully explains the issue I'm having.

I'm guessing some files are missing in the download or are not compatible? Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping for a workaround so I don't have to update my version of Minecraft.
Yes, I ended up registering specifically for this problem. I have a severe version of this in 1.13.2, where all of the ground and everything on it is pure white, and the sky pure black. Light sources are especially bright and sharply geometric in shape. I get a similar if not the same text as the person quoted above. While yes patience is key for the update, I do wish to know if something can be done in the meantime.
Edit: The tree leaves and grass blocks appear a base opaque green, and the water is a base opaque blue
I'd really appreciate some help, I generally avoid asking questions and just rely on my Google-fu but I'm at a loss here. I've gone through the last years worth of comments in this thread, and searched up numerous instructional videos but they're all for older versions of Seus.
My issue is darkness. It's simply too dark at night, underwater, and in caves. Adjusting Gamma doesn't do anything as it's not a darkening effect, it's just that if there isn't some sort of base light, everything is pitch black. I love the shader pack, but at no point do I want to be in completely pitch black darkness. I ended up just turning the pack off because I want to actually be able to see things underwater and while in caves.
It isn't a matter of torch options, because again the game shouldn't ever be pitch black in my opinion. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about it, or if that's just basically a "feature" of the shaderpack?
I'm running Optifine HD D3 Ultra ( Needed this specific version for the modpack I'm running, SevTech Ages 3.0.8 ) and Seus 1.0.0 and my client is 1.12.2 I don't have any issues other than the general settings of the shader pack.
And just to be clear, what I'm looking for is the ability to be deep in a cave with zero torches anywhere nearby and still be able to at least see the walls. I know this isn't "realistic" but it's what I'm looking for, is it possible with Seus? I don't need everything to be super bright or anything like that, don't need to differentiate ore types in the dark, I just want to be able to see at least outlines of walls and mobs and stuff.
I've also tried going into my global Nvidia settings and increasing Gamma, but it just makes the pitch black a little bit grey, doesn't increase visibility at all.
I've tweaked some settings and improved things slightly, but my main issue is still that there is no base level of light. If things are "dark" they're pitch black, and that's just so far from what Minecraft itself has that it breaks the shaders for me, turned them off earlier. Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction, it seems very strange to me that I'd be the only one with this issue. The shaders look amazing above ground, but when it comes to being in cave systems it's way way too dark. It's nice for showing off my base to friends and taking video footage, but for actual gameplay I can't deal with it lol.
Having a number of issues mentioned in this thread as of late. Items like chests, ender chests, signs etc don't get lit properly by static lights, but holding a torch/dynamic light will illuminate them. Water doesn't have a colour, texture or a reflection and is simply the default water in a grey colour. Waving grass/leaves features and options seem to be missing.
Screenshot shows poor lighting of chests and grey water. The lighting on the chests is worse depending on surroundings but this is the best I've been able to get it.
Beautiful shaders! Is anyone still working on this? Water shaders not working on 1.13.x. and a strange texture flashing issue with DX12 & nvidia driver 417.71. The only shader pack I can find with working water is Sildurs.
1) How to disable auto-exposure/eye-adjustment? I can't see anything when I'm holding a torch, because the background gets darker - which is the opposite of what you want, when you're holding a torch.
2) How to fix slime's 'black border'/'inner shadow'?
3) how to make it work with light level overlay? F7 overlay from NEI - you can barely see it and it disapears if you're not holding an item; or Light Level Overlay Reloaded - it only shows when the blocks are ~at your head level/not always and it's grey instead of green/red.
It does for me as well, thanks. I was using v1.0.0 renewed since it was the newest. v11 seems pretty laggy though. Allocated 8G to java & still lags. I really love the way SEUS does rain puddles though.

it IS compatible using Optifine, not sure on any bugs as everyone's systems are unique but you can always try it out in a single world first.

Hello there!
First, I'd like to state that this is the best shader pack out there.
Unfortunately, I've had some issues with 1.13.X where some irregularly shaped blocks aren't properly lit.
I have attached a picture.
If you use Seus , set the option Normal map is enable and the Old Lightning is on default
Hello Scriptuz. Thank you for the fast response.
Unfortunately I had already done that and changing those settings didn't make a positive difference.

Why grey water and no moving grass and leaves in seus 10.1 ultra? (minecraft 1.13.2)

Does this work on 1.13.2
If you use SEUS 11 it works with 1.13.2
although the texture for chests doesn't work
