I Was wondering... How to change the volumetric lighting (Crepuscular rays) intensity...
I recommend watching my video on improving volumetric light in SEUS, this will improve the performance and how it looks and in the video I tell you where to make the change to increase the effect.
I remember getting 60fps or higher with this like 4 years ago with a 560ti, now I barely get 10fps with a 980, so I don't know what's wrong lol. None of the optifine or shader settings have any effect on performance other than shadow quality, not even render quality.

Sounds strange. Have you tried 1.12 or 1.10.2 and see if your Fps are better then?
If you remove nuts and bolts modpack, how are the fps then ??
Well I'm playing on a server so the modpack isn't really optional lol, it's actually more like 15-16fps, which is playable, but still, the server even has fastcraft installed, obviously not fast enough xD

I doubt fastcraft will fix it anyways. You could try betterfps, tis client side. Also lowering es: 2560x1080 your resolution will definately
give you more fps. I dont know what you have for optifine settings as well.
Having a weird issue where my iron sword is behaving like a torch by glowing and lighting up the area around me when held in minecraft 1.12. Does anything know what could be causing this?

I have that same exact issue with another shaderpack I use :/
A'ight, so I just installed the newest version of this mod (v11.0), and I'm having an issue with the clouds. There are these curved lines that sprawl across the sky, regardless of any settings I change that have to do with the clouds. It's quite noticeable.
My GPU is a GTX 1050 Ti, my CPU is an Intel i5 7600k, and I have 4 gigs of RAM allocated to the game. Any and all help would be very appreciated.
Hey. I have the biomes o plenty mod installed and a few of the biomes in the mod feature custom sky colours. Whenever I switch to the seus shader pack the sky colour never changes to the custom ones. For example the wasteland biome has very dark, grey sky when the player is in it, but when sues is enabled the sky stays the same colour. I have custom sky and custom colours enabled. Thanks for any help. I couldn't even find a way to disable the seus custom sky.
It's not a mod pack, the issue is that the sky is suppose to change colours in certain biomes of the biomes o plenty mod but while seus shaders is turned on they never change colours. They just stay the default seus colour.
Hey, all! You know what? I really miss working on SEUS. I really miss being engaged with you guys, getting feedback, the excitement of sharing new developments, and seeing that same excitement from you. I miss exploring the purely passion-driven work of pushing Minecraft's visuals to the limit! I miss you guys sharing suggestions, sharing screenshots and videos, even reporting bugs/issues!
I want that back. I was so much happier during those days. So, what am I doing about it? I'm seizing it back!
As you all know, a few years ago I unofficially moved on from working on SEUS because I needed a better way to support myself financially. I found so much passion in SEUS, and I thought I would find similar passion for the other things I've been pursuing since, but it just hasn't been the same.
Now, looking back, I know for sure now that I never really lost interest in SEUS. Even after I had unofficially stopped working on SEUS, I kept getting drawn back into it!
These screenshots are the result of this purely passion-driven work--a new version of SEUS called SEUS Renewed! It's the result of the work I've done in my free time since SEUS v11, which initially started as a rewrite of the core of SEUS and has renewed my passion for working with Minecraft's graphics!
Here are some of the new features of SEUS Renewed:
-Improved GI and SSAO
-Super smooth Temporal Anti-Aliasing
-Completely reworked system for day/night cycle based on atmospheric scattering
-Accurate sunlight color via atmospheric scattering
-Accurate ambient sky lighting from atmospheric scattering via Spherical Harmonics
-New atmospheric scattering on distand land for a natural sense-of-scale
-New underwater rendering
-Normal/bump mapping from torch/artificial light
-Screen-space shadow tracing for better contact shadows
-Vastly improved performance with long render distance settings
-Physically-based specular highlights from sunlight
-Improved 2D clouds
-Improved rendering of stained glass
In addition to releasing SEUS Renewed, I've also launched a Patreon page. There you'll be able to access beta archives and experimental development archives, as well as get access to a Discord server where you can discuss SEUS with other patrons and with me!
So, that's what's happening! I just hope that I haven't been gone for too long. Even if this new venture doesn't work out, I think it's worth a shot! A HUGE thank you again for being so awesome and supporting me thus far!!!!

Is there any way to turn off ANY shadows completely in v11?
Would look good if it was 1.12 lol
Dont think so
They work for 1.12 here

Hi I'm having the same problem as debelsch but slightly worse. I made a reddit thread in an attempt to find some help and get it fixed earlier today but nothing so far. https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/75tavx/all_the_mods_3_optifine_seus_black_lines_in_sky/
I had a gif of it in the reddit thread. It turned out to be a conflict with the astral sorcery mod.
Is there a 1.12.2 version available or will there be one to come?
