This doesn't make sense. A few years ago I could run this very well on my radeon 7970 and i5 4570 but just tried again today to get back into minecraft and I can't break 50fps with my GTX 1080 and i7 6700k. Did something ridiculous happen to make the resource load that high? Barring a titan X or SLI I have basically as strong of a gaming rig as you can build.
Here are the screenshots, I took pictures of
the settings I thought to be significant, with the problem and fps
still showing in the background. I think this isn't performing as well
on my computer is it should. I definitely have enough ram, but my cpu is
a AMD FX6350 and the GPU is an AMD R9 280X. I can play battlefield 1 on
medium/high settings, yet when I use this shader I have to play on low
settings. I know this is partially due to my cpu having 6 cores, rather
than 4 stronger cores because the way MC uses cores. Are there any
suggestions performance-wise you can suggest? My render distance is
already down to 10, and I find it to be "uncomfortable" and a big change
from the usual 18+ when not using a shader. Btw, my texturepack is
R3dcraft 128x. I got 5 more frames when I switched from 256x to 128x.
So in short, if there's any way anyone could help me fix the pixelated
entities, playernames, items, etc issues I'm having, the rough looking
blocks from a far distance, and the performance issues I'm having, it
would be greatly appreciated. I also allocated MC to use 3GB of ram, and
it helped a little, so I think ram is not a problem here.
Hey There, I might be able to help somewhat here as im the founder of Continuum and have spent over 3 years working with SEUS Shaders. I will say though that im a little out of the loop these days but before then I do know that AMD Cards are a little buggy with SEUS and Continuum and thats whats happening with the pixelated entities and such and to my knowledge there isnt any fix for it yet other than trying a different driver.
you really dont need much more than 2-3GB of Ram so you are good there, you need to turn the GI resolution back to 0 and set the quality to 0.5 along with the radius as this can help ( if you can live with out GI then turn it off to save 10fps+ ) Motion Blur can also take a bit off your FPS but this one is up to you. Turn off SSAO as that takes off 5-10 fps and you wont really see much of a difference on/off.
You can check out my video on getting better performance in SEUS Here:
I have several other videos you can watch that may help you out
you can also watch videos from Past Life Pro here:
Turning off waving stuff can help your FPS as well.
good luck, any more questions just ask and I will try to answer
I downloaded the new version of optifine and it seemed to fix my issue with the pixels. I also took your advance and disabled SSAO, and got a few frames. I appreciate the help!
EDIT: Nope, problem still occurs. Slimes are even worse, they appear is giant red and green pixels.

First, I want to say I've been using SEUS Shaders for a while now - they are amazing! Great job!
I recently got a GTX 1060 6gb, and upgraded to SEUS 11.0 - looks great!
I run minecraft 1.7.2 with optifine and Shaders Mod Core 2.30
Everything works great except for objects that are from MrCrayfish Furniture mod. Their textures glitch and have reflections on them. I've provided a video here:
Anything that can be done about that?
The only other thing I've noticed is static squares on the screen when underwater. Here's a video showing that:
Sorry for not responding, yeah
its in the composite.vsh
Also just incase you need to know, just open it in like 7zip or winrar and just edit it with notepad and save it and it will save the changed one in the zip, so its pretty quick and easy (when you know what you want ot change).
//Torchlight color
float torchWhiteBalance = 0.09f; <------ pretty much just this for white
colorTorchlight = vec3(1.00f, 0.18f, 0.00f); <------ If you want to change the actual color completely
colorTorchlight = mix(colorTorchlight, vec3(1.0f), vec3(torchWhiteBalance));
thats what I have that i think gives a good mix between white and yellow
anything past about .12 for white balance is pretty much just white
It's taken me a while to find how to do this. Cheers, man.
EDIT: Okay, this doesn't seem to be working for me. I've tried making the value higher/lower & it makes no difference.
No link to Discord?
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!
yes he got it in private message, he contacted me first about his problems.
I went on there and neither of the two were on.

Different time zones. You have to be patient if you want to fix this,
You can also send them private messages there about it

I installed the latest Optifine and SEUS but it isn't working right. SEUS V10.2 works but V11.0 gives does this.
Can you give us your driver info, graphics card info, and perhaps a log?
Everything works great except for cloud. I've provided a picture here:
Is stained glass soppost to be blurry in V11
Is the glass supposed to be blurry
From what I've seen - yes. I think it's a cool effect. Makes it look like you're looking thru those glass bricks.
Is it possible to change the torch lighting to be a little less orange?
It can work on 1.11? if not could you update, thanks
not enough items:http://tinyurl.com/gwunxr7
1.10.2 mods:http://tinyurl.com/h47v237
It works with 1.11
I've been using SEUS V11 for a short while in 1.11 but i deleted it.
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!
It works fine on 1.11
Not sure which file, but you can most likely change the color based on editing one of the .fsh or .vsh files in the zip.
I know you can change the brightness.
All colored glasses are supposed to be blurry in SEUS v11.0
It's taken me a while to find how to do this. Cheers, man.
