@EskimoNoise.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! for the link to custom sky...
Running into another issue with the seus shader V10 R7 shader.. all in-game settings are at default... everything looks great all except the water.... R7 I have issues with shadows, and water, R6 version runs perfectly... someone mentioned theres upto R11 preview now? cannot find that anywhere...
thats what I get with the R7 shaders loaded...
This is what I get with the R6 shader.. perfect... Running the latest B3 optifine and the new GLSL shadermod that supports optifine B3. But i get the same issue when i was running the A8 shaders with A8 optifine as well....
Here is my MagicLauncher setup also..Doesn't matter if i had the CustomNPC mod on or not
This is the exact problem I am experiencing with the R7 shaders.
Ok, so do you have suggestions on how I could fix the water? I did try the Karyonix mod, but it made no difference to the water, where I see posting videos and not having an issue like I am lol
Two things you can try, In Options - Shaders change New block breaking to True
And the more complicated one is to edit the terrain.png in the texture pack and delete whatever background colour is around the crack textures (it's usually a light grey)
Well, thanks for the response. I did change to the New Block Breaking and it went to a grey. I did pull the terrain.png in Paintshop Pro to take a look and the cracks indeed do have a grey background. Not really sure how to separate the cracks from the grey background easily so I may just have to leave it.
@EskimoNoise I'm having a real hard time getting that custom skybox to work... is there a tutorial somewhere on how to install it? I copied it inside the texture packs/enviroment folder but that didn't work, I end up with no skybox at all..
Delete the /environment folder of the texture and unzip Custom Sky, copied the /environment folder into the texture: Custom Sky [1.5.1]
OptiFine Custom Sky: On
Thanks that worked brilliantly... now running into another issue... when using shaders, I'm getting grey sky error.... Does work with seus R6/R7 shaders, but its so bright, you you can barely see anything in the sky lol
Ps. I want to give a huge thanks to you guys for helping me as much as you have today.. I really apreciate all the help

This is what I get when I add the Shader mod. The Magic Launcher, in the first mods segment, under status, say not compatible. There is probablly a logical way to fix iit, but I followwed the directions, and I used all the correct links. My optifine was the latest version, and ultra, and my minecraft is clean. Nothing on it whatsoever. I don't have any loaders innstalled, such as forge or modloader. Please help. I'd love to see this mod in action.
If other shaders give me a grey sky, does that mean their not compatible with the texture pack for some reason? like I can now get the skybox to work with R7 Ultra but if i switch to say, Zeeekes v10 RC7 shaders, it turns the sky grey, but I get no issues switching to SEUS RC7 Ultra. Is it because I need to change something in the Zeeekes shader pack to point to the correct folder, specificlly the sky0 folder in the textures inside one of the .fsh files?
no I didn't, I was switch to a diff shader, then modyfing it, and then switching back to it.... the gamma sadly didn't do much for what I wanted, definitely made everything darker, and that was just switching it to 2.0 lol...
here is the issue, as you can see with the pic, the sky is almost completely white'd out...
Is this mod discontinued, or are we going to be able to use it on 1.5.1 before there's only like a month until the next update, and then more waiting.
I don't know if I fully understand the original post, and correct me if I am wrong, but this mod isn't compatible with Minecraft 1.5.1, is it? If so, how do I install it? The installation instructions are massively outdated, and I don't know where else to go for help.

I have some similar questions, and as for updating. Sonic does an incredible job with the mod. But in my mind he's always biting off more then he can chew. (and in my opinion) more then he needs to. I honestly thought the last version was perfect, but it seems as though a new one with a bunch of new shader techniques is being worked on now.
I may be alone in this, but I wish Sonic would work more on compatibility and stability, then research and development.
This may sound like a demanding/ungrateful post. But I still love the mod, and am amazed at how much time as gone into it.
Whenever I try adding SEUS v10 RC7 Ultrato the magic launcher it says 'mods not found' It worked fine for optifine, but not this. Any idea what I do? :x
thats because you dont add it to the magic launcher... shaders aren't a mod, their just a pack... you need to put it into the following directory users/yourusername/app data/roaming/.minecraft/shaderpacks folder.
There are a couple of things you can do, having Sky on in the Detail Setting will make the sky a tiny bit darker (really tiny)
You can also go into the misc folder of your texture pack and change the skycolor.png to a slightly darker blue, probably be worth doing skycolor0.png as well.
I did this before on 1.4.7 but I don't see why it wouldn't have the same effect on 1.5
Hmm interesting, the texture pack I use doesn't even have skycolor or skycolor0.png inside the misc folder... Using LB Photo Realism Texture Pack. This mean I should probably add them?
Do I need to make the text in my signature a bit bigger?
The installation instructions are fairly up to date for the official releases
Go to the last page of the Karyonix thread and work back for an unofficial preview version

x256 Would you mind saying how you can do it so quickly? I don't mind doing it myself.

Use This: SEUS v10 RC7 Ultra -Custom Sky-
how did you do that? lol.. is there a way to make it work with R6? R7 I have terrible water shadow issue
Chocapic13's shaders: V3-preview 4 [1.5.1]
Now, is there a way to change the amount of bloom a shader gives? or how bright it is?
when changed, do i leave the "f" at the end
