EDIT: I just saw you comment elsewhere that you're running 1.5 Everything below this is pointless because bump mapping and POM is disabled in that preview version.
The POM is controlled in gbuffers_entities.fsh and gbuffers_terrain.fsh (there's also gbuffers_hand but that can make items look weird)
just delete the // from in front of #define POM and then use a texture pack from Sildur's site that's been modified for parallax mapping.
Might not be to your taste but the Bordercraft pack has some of the most extreme POM out there.

Just wanted to pop here to say thanks for these shaders! Recently updated to MC 1.5 and then 1.5.1 and decided to start modding - only to wait quietly and refresh various mod pages that interested me for a time, this being one of them, and thanks to this mod (with others), my rather humble delves in to MC have never looked so pretty
It's only a work in progress preview and there's no bump/POM/specular, you should go back to 1.4.7 and wait for a proper version
Thanks for the reply. I didn't see your edit mentioning that you were running 1.4.7 until today. My favorite server is running 1.5.1 though, so i suppose i will have to wait until everybody releases the necessary ingredients for specular, bump, and parallax mapping for 1.5.1 to work.
Any idea why my torches aren't giving off light, though? I've seen some youtube videos of people running SEUS on 1.5.1 and their torches work just swimmingly.

I really love this shader pack and i'm a big fan.
But what the f... is your problem dude!
HDR is a heresy in graphical enhancement. Why? because it isn't realistic at all. It's te same problem on skyrim.
Every single M....f.... dev thinks that hdr is cool.
It's annoying at best and damages your eyes at worst.
Devs use HDR tu process lightning change as if you use a camera to take pictures
but your Eye process it 5Million time faster than a standard camera.
Personally i don't want to play my game eyes behind a camera waiting 5s each time i go into my mine,explore a cave or even gather my croops in order to see something in front of me.
So is there anyway to remove manualy HDR on your shader pack SEUS v10 RC 7?
Do you intend to add a version whitout HDR?
Or should i switch my shaderpack?

I would agree with you there on HDR being overused, the sole reason being that its VERY easy to impliment and it has a very small performance hit if done correctly. I don't believe SEUS uses Normal "High Definition Range Lighting" anymore, it used to be in the settings, but its gone now. what your seeing is a multitude of other light rendering effects all in one, and I had to tone mine down, it was giving me a headache lol.
you CAN edit the shader files to suit your tastes, simply open up the shaderpack file, and find the file called "Final.FSH"(it controls mostly everything), and you can modify the values in there to your hearts content. Might take awhile to find out what each setting does^^

I've noticed if I use Optifine fog, the textures "behind" the fog will vanish, leaving white-blue blocks. This is my first time using this mod, but I have also noticed the grass doesn't move, yet the leaf blocks do.
I have the correct versions of both optifine and glsl for mc 1.5.1. They are installed properly and the SEUS shaders are working.
My issues are: torches, glowstone, and redstone are not giving off any light at all.
I deleted the // in front of the POM variables but parallax mapping is still not working either.

Installed and run, and I am getting 20 FPS at most, (I didn't get any reflection/refraction from the water as well)
my specs are
i7 3770K
gtx 560 TI
16gb ram
Is it my comp or?
P.S I allocated 5gb of memory as well
Why doesn't it look like above? Its not too bad in faithfulvenom. Also torches are a bit dark.
