Wow. Tried it out a few days ago, my computer crashed. It wouldn't boot into windows at all, so I took it to the IT guy at one of my workplaces. He said the best thing to do was to format my hard drive, he did it, and now I've probably lost my main income until I can afford Windows 7 and all the software I need again. Thanks a whole ****ing lot.

Are you kidding me right now? You're going to blame your computer crashing--which could have been caused by millions of things, literally--on a simple Minecraft mod? I ... I'm speechless. Go learn a little more about computers and realize that something like this couldn't have possibly "crashed" your computer.

I'm having issues with this mod. I followed all of the instructions and updated my graphic drives and it still doesn't work. I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8. The problem I have is that there's sections of the terrain that just look white, also I can't see my own shadow.

Getting exactly the same errors. I've installed Modloader, Optifine, then the shaders in that order. Help? Also, I couldn't see that 1.0 line in the installer that I'm supposed to disable.
1. The game need to be patched by the McPatcher before installing the mod?
2. I got this java error. In your description you said just click in the Installer rightclick and 1.0 and disable it. But if I rightclick on this line nothing happens?
1) No, Optifine has its own HD patch. You need optifine.
HELP SONIC!
I've tried everything.
i get this message in the log,you say to disable the 1.0.0 thing, i do, nothing installs. after i install optifine smooth/any optifine, i get:

It runs, but not well. I get about 15-20 FPS with the default texture pack. Don't hate my specs, I promise they aren't the problem (built the beauty myself). I normally get 500 fps with 512x texture packs, and have peaked up to 1250 with a 512x pack, and up to 2000 with default.
So anyway, my specs are:

thanks sonic-ether for your amazing shaders.... minecraft never looked so good.... i added this from somone else's shader to get all wavy plants. feel free to delete the unneccessary crap, but if you can incorporate world curvature and get waving water/lava working you would be god.,
