post a error log here
minecraft 1.3.2 with SEUS V10 RC5+LCTrees(I thought the problem might be due to the huge load from the biomes gen in LCTrees, is that right?)

When telling someone to make a spoiler out of their post because their bug report was inconveniently long to scroll through, doesn't it sort of defeat the purpose to post the entire thing a second time?

So I installed this for 1.3.1, and I appear to have some transparency issues. Using Ovo's Patched texture pack, unmodded aside from SEUS and Optifine.
Video Card is ATI Radeon HD 7970
Core is Intel i5 3570K @ 3.4 GHz
16gb RAM
ASUS Z77 motherboard.
Not sure if that stuff is relevant.
When will this mod be updated for 1.3.2? (or updates to 1.4 when it comes out)?? Also what requiremenst do i need to install this mod besides Modloader.

Does anyone know if SEUS comes with windy grass, and a water shader? Or do you have to download GLSL first? Debating which one to get. Could someone help me out?

Yes, SEUS comes with waving grass and water shader, but make sure to eliminate the custom water files in Ovo's texture pack to see the water correctly, otherwise you'll see an ugly bluish texture.
Because this mod depends on another mod(GLSL) Ask the other modder to update his mod to bring this one up to date.
Although, there has been a handful of folks using MC 1.3.2 with SEUS with no apparent problems , but many others are having glitches and problems with this setup. So, I think is wise to wait for a real update of this mod, or try your luck.
But do you need Ovo's rustic texture pack? Because I wanna use different texture packs. So you don't have to download GLSL first?
Yes, you need Ovo's texture pack because, as far as I know, it's the only supported TP at this moment. Although, I read somewhere that the Photo Realism texture pack has support for v10 rc5.
Anyways, as for Ovos's TP, I personally, don't like this pack--like some have stated already---but to be fair, the bump maps and reflections really makes this TP more beautiful and interesting than its original.
As for your second question: no, you don't need to download GLSL. Everything that you need is here; just follow SEUS install instructions.

If you're using only GLSL shader, then yes, any TP, as far as I know, works. In fact, older versions of SEUS works with any TP, like v8 and 9. When SEUS introduced his water shader, then you only needed to modified your favorite TP water textures, and lightmap files(I believe). Now, with v10 rc5, you have bump maps and reflections to deal with, and that has change things drastically that only one TP is supported, for now.

Hello.
I started off with a clean .jar and then installed optifine manually then ran the installer then launched it and this is it:
I tried searching to web but it didn't help. i have all the settings for optifine as they were when i installed it.
Also it seems that when i'm underwater im fine also when I'm breaking blocks I can see the texture of the block because the lines in the default texture pack have the marks where it would be breaking dimmed so that's why you see the grass texture when i'm breaking it.
Also for the first few pictures i put better grass on.
Wow, I was able to actually get this to work in Minecraft 1.4!Thanks karyonix! I put together a quick video showing it off. I modifed it to use the faithful texture pack, because some textures are still missing from Ovo's rustic pack for 1.4.

If you had to recommend one of the shaders, which would it be?
It all depends what you're willing to sacrifice. I remember way back, I was very happy with SEUS v8; I was using my John Smith TP which I love very much; v8 had bloom which I liked very much too. However, the godrays were a complete resource hog that I had to disable the godrays. Also, the torch light was dim, very dim in the dark.
SEUS v9 had a better optimized godrays, but it didn't have the Bloom shader. Then came along v10. It had water shader!!, and a better lighting system. Although, it still didn't have bloom, was resource heavy because of the water, and it had glitches like solid white hand and tools. Also, I had to learn to edit the water texture in Photoshop to make it work with the shader.
Now, we have v10 rc5. It has the wonderful bump/reflection maps among other things. Alas, it still doesn't have bloom, and as you found out already, support for only one texture pack.
I don't know, you pick your poison. Btw, way back I made a video of SEUS v8. My first YouTube video ever, lol.

Did you add the SEUS lightmap0.png file into the environment folder in Ovo's texture pack?
Is there any way to disable the bump map? Even though I like it, but I don't want to use Ovo's TP, cause I have my own TP that I've made for my personal use, and it's gonna be a pain to create the maps for it atm.
Besides that, It's amazing all the new stuff Sonic is doing with this mod.
Btw I'm using it on 1.3.2 and it's working flawlessly. I followed a guide someone post on a comment on Sonic's facebook page.
