would it be possible for you to add support for exporting with information because i am trying to import a recording (.mov) into Adobe Premier Pro and it is telling me that it is an invalid file type because it doesn't have the necessary information in the file
would it be possible to allow exporting to an Adobe Premier Pro compatable file type because whenever i try to import my recording (.mov) the error that Adobe Premier Pro is saying is that the file has no audio or video streams.

Yea, already had this idea, but this is a HUGE work.
Did you try it without other mods installed ? Seems there is a side effect with an other mod...
Camera Studio for Minecraft 1.7.10 HERE
Hey sushen. I would like to tell you something important you might want to add to your post. Here is the info.: Camera Studio is NOT compatible with Minema. When I tried to run it with Minema, my Minecraft simply crashed. Without it, CameraStudio works fine
EDIT: Sorry. It works fine with Minema. The reason why it didn't crashes was because my window was NOT enlarged. When I open Minecraft, the window is small. When I record at that window size, CameraStudio is fine. If I enlarge it to fit the screen (not full screen it), crashes ... I'll do some more testing.
EDIT: It does work in full screen and when the window is small. CameraStudio recording does NOT work if the window is enlarged to fit the screen (not full screen).
I recently installed this mod with modloader. I also have the Smart Moving mod. When ever I start the path through /cam start, it also toggles the state of smart moving (on/off), and the camera remains in the same place, although tilt/pan still occurs. The function works normally using third person, but it still toggles the state of smart moving.
Does anyone know what might cause this issue / have a fix for it?
Yep, there might be issues when you change the window size during a record.
Besides this, I didn't notice a crash based on window size (window size affects performance only) : just take care not to change the size when recording is in progress.
Not with camera studio. Maybe with another mod ..
Install the mod normally (client-side).
Nothing is needed server-side, except fly permission.
Yes, this would be a cool feature.
But before that, I'll focus on cam roll

I did a test film of 20 minutes, sped up to x20. After a 20 minutes (at least I think it was 20 minutes), I checked out the footage and even though there appeared to be no lagg, I saw that the chunks constantly kept getting refreshed.
Is this maybe an OptiFine thing, or the fact the the CameraMan causes lag?
Also, during the filming, I decided to Open Lan to see if that would decrease the lag. It did (slightly), but I was barely able to move.
This test was on my Macbook Pro, which of course isn't the best thing to play Minecraft on, but since my computer has handled where worst things before, I decided to test out filming. Those were the results /\
Hope there are performance improvements in the future
On my iMac the cameraman refreshes the chunks constantly! I don't have optifine though, so it must have something to do with the mac's video drivers. Here's a link to a video that shows what I mean. http://www.mediafire.com/?nn102cm6uet85co I tried to do a time lapse of me building and I stopped it to check on how it was working. This was the result.

If anyone knows whats causing this please respond!
This was installed on a fresh minecraft 1.3.2
Dude i test this on my Macbook early 2008 with 2 gb ram XD
i got a idea for your mod
a sort of a third person but better.
it follows you (walk)
and i focus on you
but... if you hold a key it focus on what your are pointing.
sorry i know its hard to make that and have total respect but i hope that you make it
PS: ppl plz thumbs up this comment so he will think that this is a great idea
bye!
For me, the video footage looks fine. Everything about it looks like I wasn't lagging. But, as I was building and destroying blocks (outside the first 10 seconds), there was incredible lag! I don't know why I kept going for twenty minutes with this lag ... lol
How was the test? I have 8 GB of RAM (if I didn't say that already). Maybe your graphics card isn't as warn out as mine. Dunno, dunno.
Keep Modloader, but install CameraStudio and its dependency directly in minecraft.jar.

The lag you experience is due to the double rendering when the cameraman needs a frame capture (one render for the cameraman, and one render for the player). So every x frame, the game has to run a 'big' frame, introducing a lag. The funny thing is that this lag is less visible when you capture at 1x (because it's regular), and is more annoying at other speeds.
I'll try to correct this in future version, but it will be hard, since I cannot capture a little bit of frame here, and a little bit of frame there.
Oh, and yes, this lag is not visible in the video, thats the good part
So many things to do ^^

I read through the last few pages and noticed one other person having the same problem.
This was a fresh install on 1.3.2 without Modloader. ( I also tried with Modloader, same problem.
Any help?
Then you've read the question I asked him, right ? (about xuggle)

Is the filming code working in a different thread?
This is unusually, since I run my own server ... I'll test recording on a side server, and see how that works.
