Hello, I was trying to get the movement of the camera translated to Cinema4D but by diving the seconds by the number of points and multiplying the result by the framerate I dont get accurate results. the movements get "out of sync".
Can someone help me solve this?
Patch
^^
Had to use an matchmover and deal with the scale errors.
Just came to drop an suggestion:
An cut command (like windows) where you can take the patch from an place to another using an relative point (like worldedit copy/paste).
Would love to see an update to 1.7.10 so I can have a working copy on all versions that I use for my mod showcases (1.6.4, 1.7.2, 1.7.10). I'd be willing to donate to the mod author for an update to the new version.
While I'm at it, I might as well ask whether something is possible (cause I haven't figured out how to do it), or suggest it as a feature:
I've tried what I think should be a simple camera effect, but can't find a way to do it without setting multiple camera shots/segments.
Let's say I have P1 & P2, which are 10 blocks apart. I set a path (whether linear or curvilinear) from P1 -> P2 and go for 5 seconds, and it will interpolate fine. But what I want the camera to do is zoom in quickly (from P1->P2) over 3 seconds and the last 2 seconds hold a P2. Or, somehow travel in what would be a parabolic path (I think?) so that it would cover the first-say 8-9 blocks in 3 seconds and then slowly approach P2 during the last 2 seconds. Is this possible currently, other than setting a linear path from P1->P2 for 3 seconds and recording that and then a linear path from P2->P2 for 2 seconds to 'hold' the camera still?
I am trying to use the cam roll feature and it works fine until I start a path. When I set my points and do /cam start the camera defaults to normal and I can't roll the cam. It starts to roll then snaps back to default position. I am using the roll in 1st person. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong.
As you've seen these last months, I haven't been active on the mod at all ; I was indeed very busy IRL, so very far away from coding
But things will change in November !
So, be known that I'll update CameraStudio for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.8 (1.8.1 if MCP is released) !! Next month (don't ask when precisely - just next month). And maybe (did I say maybe ?) I'll add some new stuff in it.. maybe
Rough test to a next video. Half is done with Syntheyes and the car half is using the raw data from the .path file.
It didn't went well because Camera studio spline is different from C4D.
Mineways was used to get the model and I don't remember who created the car.
I never made a long length because if I spend 2 weeks shooting alone is gonna take another 2 or 3 weeks just to match the camera in the shots.
P.S: It is slow because I've shot in 60 FPS;
P.S²:My channel is full of tests (some are unlisted) I didn't had time to put the mod's and software used in the description.

You're the best, keep it up!
Also, I'm curious, do you think the new 1.8 way of rendering things will affect the mod at all?
I have tried to instal this several times and have not gotten the dependencies to work. I am on a 2013 macbook. When i open mionecraft I can see the mod but it says i need the dependencies to record... but no matter what i do I can't get the dependencies to work! I've zipped/unzipped them in the mods folder and a few other places, but nothing works. I've deleted and reinstalled everything three times. How do I instal the dependencies????
I have tried to instal this mod several times with forge. the mod itself instals fine, i can see it in game, but I cannot instal the dependencies no matter what i do. I am on a 2013 macbook pro. I have reinstalled everything three times, tried placing the dependencies zipped or unzipped in the mods folder and a few other places but nothing will work. How do I instal the dependencies? the thread says that it is just like the mod itself but that doesn't seem to be working. PLZ help...

Have you ever considered releasing the source code on GitHub? People would be able to help you update... I understand if you don't want to do that tough, I'm a dev to
Can someone help me solve this?
