The village nearest my home has like a overflow of villagers in it. Problem is their are like two warriors to every one villager. Is that just a thing with the way its configured now. i have the latest one for the 1.7.10 version. 5072. Or however that is numbered. The monsters dont stand a chance but i fear neither does my server lol.
i've been looking around for a couple days, but haven't been able to find anything about getting the latest mca working with optifine. my laptop really needs the help... it's like a different game without it.
Everytime I try to join this MCA server (This server is 1.7.10) it wont let me join and just says: Mod Rejections [FMLMod:MCA{1.7.10-5.07.2}, FMLMod:RadixCore{2.0.2}]

i think that means your not using the version thats installed on the server
I have a suggestion for future update of the mod: a crib, where you can place you baby in it and the baby will appear as a 3-D skin of the icon in the inventory/HUD bar. Its walls will slide up and down for ease of access, and the baby will grow until it's ready to grow up and he/she will spawn at the nearest home point (that's not a wall or outside) and it will automatically set a it's home point and the crib will turn into a bed.

the idea has been known for all time
someone make the model and texture already so people stop asking
You can't. Villagers use distinct skins so if you want to have people with an unusual hair color (such as blue, green), you have to add new villager skins.
Maybe implementing a system like vanilla dog collar painting (the texture have a place where the colors can be swapped, idk right how it works) could achieve a system like this.

Just wanted to post that we've made a new installer for MCA. It allows you to choose your desired Minecraft version, and everything else will be set up for you. For those who may install mismatching versions of RadixCore and MCA, or those who do not install the correct Forge version, this may be something to try. It's also great if you're not sure how to install mods.
i have moved from the vanilla server to the forge server and so i moved my save from the vanilla too. So i have installed MCA but if i want to play my save with the forgeserver and loaded MCA Mod it crashs. Her is the Crash Report:
-snip-
You can't use an existing world when switching to MCA on 1.8.
It seems like when I turn off story progression the villagers totally lose their ability to procreate because I just can't find a way to manually let the villagers have children, was this intended, or am I not patient enough?
By the way, what I did was...
First I disabled the story progression, created a new world, spawned a village with the crsytal ball, found a married couple, made them stay inside a house, and I spammed them a bunch of cakes, but even after a while, nothing happened.
Then I re-enabled story progression, the couple immediately had a baby right after I gifted them another cake.

No, i mean that if a player marries npc of same gender, u cant have babys.
Can you dye your child's hair with dye?
My game keeps crashing when ever I right-click on or with something except on the villagers. Why is it crashing?
Will the MCA devs read colored diamonds to 1.8x?
If this is implemented, would it be configurable for those of us who don't mind same gender pairs having offspring?

hold up... i got a new lead....
well i tried this method:
http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Mods/Installing_OptiForge/Forge_Installer
but the launcher just disappears when i try to start it. i'll have to double check everything.

This Mod Is Really Cool! Have To Admit It, But IT IS SO AWESOME!
AgentMinecritters113, the agent is saving the day!
It's already been said that if a model is made, a crib would be added.

Uh, i never seen a skinny villager before. Just "shorty" villager (small in height but with same arm thickness than steve =/
