This is a great mod. I absolutely love it. I do have some questions. For starters, is it possible to obtain a villager editor in a survival world? I think, if it isn't too much trouble a official wiki or something similar should be created with everything the mod has to offer. Otherwise, this is a awesome mod
Is there a config option to allow structure generation on a server? I cannot seem to find a way to do this.I'm running a closed server for my kids and their s friends and they really want to choose a starting family and I don't want to give them creative mode nor build fake villages.
Is there something wrong with the dialogue currently? In all videos i have seen, the children call the players mommy/daddy but to my own child i seem like a stranger and can only have rather generic dialogue with me. Is there a different version for 1.7 that i can get that has this more, familial dialogue?
Please reduce the speed of the villagers they are very fast and that this very disturbing
I had this happen to me as well, it is a weird bug in vanilla minecraft. For some reason, in SOME games, especially in the "desert" and "savanna" biomes, the villagers sprint ALL THE TIME. Mine was in a savannah. It was horrible, you couldn't interact with them, build anything without them hurling themselves off of edges, and the constant manic noise of doors opening and closing. It was like someone fed them all meth! However, another village in a plains biome was fine? *shrugs*
No, I was referring to the MCA feature where when you activate the crystal in a single player game, you get to do your setup then decide if you want to live in a village, etc. If you choose living in a village, a village is generated with your house and family in it wherever you are standing. That functionality, by default, doesn't work on a server due to the potential for griefing (ie maybe it overrides all the chunk claiming/protection mods). I was asking if there was a way to override this functionality for server deployments.
I'm happy to announce that MCA is now fully compatible with Minecraft 1.9!
No notable changes, but everything appears to be working correctly. It is a beta release, however, since Forge is still under very heavy development. Once Forge has an official 1.9 public release, we can bring MCA out of beta as well.
If you're talking about modifying an existing villager's trades - I'm pretty sure that's not possible. But I have found a guide to summoning a new villager with custom trades over on imgur.com.
I tried coding a Custom Villager using Command Block, here is a sample code:
For some weird reason, it only spawns random villagers from MCA and not the same trade as I specified. Did I missed something or did I do anything wrong?
Mmh, it doesn't look like you did anything wrong, judging by the tutorial I sent you before. Looks like MCA does indeed not account for a villager's trades when overriding it. You might want to create an issue on the issue tracker for that.
Thank you for your guidance. I could have thought that something's wrong with my coding or with the villager code generator.
I filed an issue anyways.
Hi,
My daughter is wanting to play this mod. When and/or will it ever be updated for minecraft 1.9.2?
Otherwise, is it possible to downgrade to a version of minecraft that this would be compatible with?
thanks
Is there a way to give villagers/Guards weapons? and if so, how?

There used to be, but we lost it in the latest rebuild. Will be back eventually.
Was the Lost Relative thingy removed? If so, what version? I play 1.7.10 and i really wanted to use it but can't find it, just the Divorce papers.

So yeah, try starting a new world, or find another village.

Is there a way I can upload skins into this mod to put on the villagers?
it would be interesting if you follow that model of the villagers. I would be pleased INSTALLING this mod on my minecraft if you had these models.
of course, they have to have some minor renovations,
(Missing children)
(Of course with clothes) u-u

I wish the villagers would stay still when you tell them to stay tbh

Hi there!
First and foremost, I really love this mod, so much that I only joined servers if this mod is available.
Though, one thing that is stuck in my mind when I was playing a single player: Is there a way to modify villager's trades?
So far I have seen that you can change the name, looks and whatnot. But none of them is related to item trade.
I also tried using command blocks, but I always end up spawning random MCA villagers.
Is there any way to specifically modify the trade from MCA villagers? Or at least is there a different command I need to use?
Frankly, this thing feels like it will make setting up shops easier.
Any recommendations and advice will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Does anyone know if it is possible to upload skins onto the villagers?
That's detailed on the FAQ, found here: http://www.radix-shock.com/mca--faq.html
