edit: Is there a way to capture in uncompressed video? I captured a night shot and there's no way to adjust the levels because it looks terrible. I can't keep the shot in it's original state since the video is darker than what i see in game.
All i did was edit the curves just a LITTLE.
Here's a day shot. Still a bit pixelated.
Or i could use bmp and render the sequence in vdub, but i won't be able to use F8 then >_<
You can edit the ffmpeg parameters in minema.cfg to get lossless compression, simply use "-qp 0" instead of "-qp 18" (color space is still "compressed" to YUV420, but that's required for most codecs anyway). It was set lossless in 1.0, but it seems that only few players are able to play lossless H.264 videos, so...
.ps inconpatible with yogbox gold for you looks useful but not and you cant use it with a lot of stuff that how your mod is lolz jk heres a diamond just for making a recorder in game ps you need a ironpick to get that diamond xD
This almost seems like the first step in converting Minecraft to a CGI video rendering application. What people are capable of doing with this game continually amazes me!
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

The video I get out of this mod is awesome, but while I'm playing the game runs freakishly slow. Recording a fifteen second clip takes over a minute for me to run through, but it renders perfectly into video. I have Optifine installed. How can I fix this?

That's what it's supposed to do. This isn't a real time capture mod.

Check if you've got the commons-io-2.0.1.jar in your bin directory.

Are you using the FFmpeg version? If even that runs too slowly, then there's probably not much you can do, especially with singe-core CPU systems. Recording and encoding takes its time when Minecraft is running as well.
Yes! I love this mod! One question: why isn't there any sound? And you definitely deserve these:
If you're recording a 3 min long video which takes 5 min to render, the sound would be 5 min long as well. I need to find an easy way to mix all sounds synchronized first for sound recording support.
aswell does this produce insanely huge file sizes like fraps?
....WINNING!!
It works with optifine.
And the files are very small, but the downside is the immense compression. If you are big on top quality then it will be tough lol. XD

Well i can barely play lossless and I have a good rig lol. It all goes to vegas or AAE anyways to be compressed after editing.
But thanks though, I'll try it out now.
when i set it to 0 the video was messed up and had bad artifacts, but i set it to 1 and that worked =D

You can move like for cam angles, but i wouldn't recommend trying a let's play or a walkthrough with it.

You won't be able to make LPs with minema. Unless you like playing in less than 10fps lol.
