EDIT: wouldnt this go extremly slow for me considering i get around 1200fps?
The frame rate will be limited during recording. With FFmpeg, 720p, 30fps and a decent system, it should be slightly slower than normal, maybe even faster.
Weird... and you're using the newest version, right?
I've put the config and and mod stuff in. I just dunno how to put the bin folder in.
When i tried to press f4 with the exe. file in .minecraft. I got the same error as the guy above
This is GREAT! But, when I review my recordings, sometimes I get a glitch in the terrain and it turns differnt pastel colors and lasts about 1 sec... Not sure if it's a big problem... And is there a way to slow down the recording? Cause I don't really want to to be REALLY fast...
EDIT: I forgot to say that I also lag quite a bit while recording...

Hm, that's weird. I never noticed that before, maybe it's a Minecraft bug.

The mod always tries to record as fast as possible. If it's recording too fast, you could try to increase the framerate. More frames per second to record = slower recording.
It should be possible to have faster encoding (or better encoding) easily with --preset, but the "medium" setting (default) works fine for me.
(ffmpeg should work too, but some of the default settings don't seem to exists on my version at least)
That's interesting, I'll try these settings later to find out if they're faster than FFmpeg. :smile.gif:
Edit: okay, the speed is pretty much the same, but I guess the overhead is smaller. I'll add these parameters to the comments for those who prefer to use x264 directly.

You can limit the amount of frames to record. Otherwise, it will record until your HDD is full :tongue.gif:

Just drop all the contents in the main folder into .minecraft. Don't go into the sub folders.
