Yes pls TNT. I have been playing with multiple mob trap formats to get some serious TNT for mining. Exploritory detonations are very useful in getting to veins quickly. I am hung up on a high yield mob system, the drop rate is HORRIBLE and I used all the tricks I know work in vanilla. Anyways, sulfer TNT would be very helpful nice without being too OP.

Tested that theory; End result giant craters with no real reward other than tons of rocks, cobble and some gems which are currently useless...
However, I can see blast mining as a great potential IF you do happen to find an ore vein "Nearby" while prospecting.

i need some help...i loaded a new .minecraft and started adding to mods just to try TFC out but when i created a new world the TFC textures didnt load.
i want to know if im the only one or i just need to re-install
now, im just wondering, will this mod work with Industrial craft?

Lazy pick method: Get initial ore hit. Move around / dig till you keep getting the highest amount. Dig 25 blocks in all 6 direction from that point. Profit XD
I enjoy the pick and with the better vein size recently it is much easier and rewarding. After using the pick for a few worlds you do get a knack for it and can get to the goods with little wasted exploration.

Well that is why I prefaced with "lazy pick method" just to start people. Once people get their feet wet they will have am easier time using the quadrant method.

There is still a texture problem even with the texture pack; most trees are seethrough, blocks 213-215 share the same textures (they are just coloured lines), not enough items stops the game for 7 seconds when loading (mabey work on an api or NEI support), and the horns dont appear on helmets when worn. These texture issues are causing huge problems when trying to use your mod, please fix for 1.3.

First, If you used the texture pack included in the downloads page, don't useit yet, it's a bit outdated. If not, then you installed something wrong.
Second, NEI has some incompatibilities with this mod because of the so many changes it does to the vanilla MC. Try not to use it
Third, 1.3 is in pre-release mode now, for a week at least. I doubt Bioxx would update his mod to the pre-release version
You should make coal only spawn in the swamp biome so they'll actually have a use! Because I learned in class that coal is made from fallen trees at the bottom of the swamp lakes/bodies of water and then they're covered over time to create coal. Also in this you could add every thunderstorm every time lightning struck it would knock down a few trees.

I have no damn clue where things are, and sometimes I'll get a hit from one block, but none of the blocks surrounding it.
Go to the mod forums and read the topics about the mechanics behind the Prospector's Picks. It won't be chaged.
