On the forge every time I get s problem like that I dig up and place again in s new location. I never build the forge into the rock like that; even if it down in the ground I do the following with cobble.
Ugh ... is there any reason using the config file to change the IDs should prevent Minecraft from starting up and getting it stuck on the Mojang logo? I can't play NotEnoughItems without Equivalent Exchange (otherwise Minecraft crashes whenever I enter a world for some reason,) and there's an ID conflict. Oh well. \Changes EE IDs

I've done your redesign. It still doesn't work.
Should I make an indirect flue? Should I line the flue with bricks? What am I doing wrong?
I can't seem to get flint from the pebble thingamabobs, just Pylite or whatever it's called, I can't remember the name.

No more flint, go to the wiki to learn new system for stone tools.
Checked the wiki. Didn't appear to be very updated, it said you could use a flint tool to break down trees.

Okay guys, I'm having trouble. I haven't been able to make steel and we can't figure out why. According to the wiki it needs to be 3xUnshaped Wrought Iron (liquid) and 1xUnshaped Pig Iron (Liquid) on the Metallurgy Table. We've tried heated, cooled, liquid, ingots(usually at brilliant white)... the whole nine yards. Currently running the Beta V2 Pre39 in SMP. Can anyone help?

Thanks guys a clean reinstall worked, it was a problem with forge.
I created a new world with a default seed and it generated a tiny island with 5 rocks and one dead tree in the middle.
The dead tree is a fruit tree in the not-blooming season
Remember the names so we can help, "pebble thingamabobs" doesn't mean anything to me, neither "Pylite"

Allright, yeah, as someone said already. They are not dropping flint anymore, instead, a rock of a stone type, that is most probably a layer below in the ground, to hint you what type of ores you will find. The wiki has an updated guide, check that one
Please add a soilered pic of what you see. As long as they do not look vanilla it sounds like everything is correct. The texture pack makes very small changes to the items that are far off TFC format.
What mods do you use additional to TC? I am still looking for some good ones which work with it.

i realy want this mod it looks and sounds brilliant but i have downloaded it and its texturepack default and official
but it is all the same
all the trees look exactley the same every thing plees help
That texture pack is outdated and is missing some textures, so you better don't use it, or edit it to work

Though I would love to death a FallOut mod built off TF.
EDIT: Also, Bioxx, have you ever considered adding the ability to repair tools?
I hate 'wasting' the last few strokes of a tool, and my favorite feature of MCMMO was the repairing.
