I just installed nei , double checked everything , couldnt fix . My problem is that nei doesnt show up , in mods list under nei it says no plugin installed . Googled , couldnt find solution .

Check versions of mods to be sure that none of them is writed to other MC version, also check if MC is crashing when you pull out Thermal Expansion and Foundation from /mods folder. You can always check there is somwhere a Thermal Expansion NEI plugin.
Imho it looks like errors in TE - maybe try to load older/newer/beta version?
If I remove NEI from my mods folder, it works just fine, and I downloaded all my mods for MC 1.7.10. I have not tried the TE remove, but TE was the reason I downloaded NEI in the first place. I have not checked for a plugin, but I will download ASAP.

Just a warning: NEI and Forge somehow have managed to lock me out of one of my worlds. I am required to use NEI- when I load my game, it says I am "missing the following item(s): NEI (any)". And for some reason I cannot use NEI with the version of Forge that I created my world in originally anymore- I once was able to before but now I can't for whatever reason- and there's a mistake with the server tick properties.
What a complicated scenario. I'm just saying this as a warning: not even a backed-up world can save you when this comes.
And, yes, in my crash files whenever I went into my world, it was always saying that there was errors with CodeChickenCore/NEI. Sadly I think it has multiple reasons, and your mod just somehow got caught in the middle of it.

I talked with the owner of the server that I'm on, and he is interested in running the ChickenChunks mod, but he has one big complaint about it: the item doesn't have a recipe to build it. Is there anyway to design/create a recipe for the chickenloader block? If there's a recipe, or a way to make one, he'll pop this mod on the server right away.

NEI is not cooperating, i think it may be incompatible with CCC version. If i'm not mistaken i have both latest versions.

i'm trying to get the mod "waila" for 1.7.2 minecraft but i had to get NEI. to do that i had to get CCC. when i try to run minecraft with both mods in the correct mods folder theres an error.

If I remove NEI from my mods folder, it works just fine, and I downloaded all my mods for MC 1.7.10. I have not tried the TE remove, but TE was the reason I downloaded NEI in the first place. I have not checked for a plugin, but I will download ASAP.

Curse PremiumJust a warning: NEI and Forge somehow have managed to lock me out of one of my worlds. I am required to use NEI- when I load my game, it says I am "missing the following item(s): NEI (any)". And for some reason I cannot use NEI with the version of Forge that I created my world in originally anymore- I once was able to before but now I can't for whatever reason- and there's a mistake with the server tick properties.
What a complicated scenario. I'm just saying this as a warning: not even a backed-up world can save you when this comes.
And, yes, in my crash files whenever I went into my world, it was always saying that there was errors with CodeChickenCore/NEI. Sadly I think it has multiple reasons, and your mod just somehow got caught in the middle of it.

But I still don't see any nei config files anywhere.
What if I recreate a separate new server with only the nei mod from scratch. If the config is created could I then copy it to my server ?

I've only recently gotten into Minecraft, and I'm still learning all of the fun stuff that I can do with it, so please forgive me if what I'm asking is really odd.
I talked with the owner of the server that I'm on, and he is interested in running the ChickenChunks mod, but he has one big complaint about it: the item doesn't have a recipe to build it. Is there anyway to design/create a recipe for the chickenloader block? If there's a recipe, or a way to make one, he'll pop this mod on the server right away.

I am using multimc 5 with the latest version of forge
NEI is not cooperating, i think it may be incompatible with CCC version. If i'm not mistaken i have both latest versions.
