Does anyone have any idea why when I update any of my chickenbones mods that the game won't launch? No errors, it just simply hangs. It doesn't matter whether I update only core, or only wireless or only ender storage, or only chunks, or All of them, the same thing happens...is there some kind of new DRM in all of the mods?

There is not, never has been, and shouldn't ever be, any DRM of any kind in mods. You are almost definitely installing something wrong, or have grabbed versions of the mods that are incompatible with your version of Minecraft.

Learn some Java before you mod, and skip over the chapter on ModLoader, straight to MinecraftForge. It's better. Trust me.
You should work on updating to new mc, and than try making more mods instead of improving current ones. I love your mods. P.S. NEI needs a favorites system.

hey could you add a feature to hide stuff added by installed mods (choseable from which) so it would be easier to find certain items youre looking for in NEI. cause with 20+ installed mods its hard to find items im searching for.
Go into the item subsets, and in mods, shift-click the title of the mod that you want the item from. The NEI screen should only show items from that mod. To clear, simply rightclick the search bar.

can someone please help me? NEI wont work, i put core and NEi in coremods and it still wont work! in my config folder i have nei and codechickencore but still nothing in the game
I just more or less finished modding my 1.5.1 client, but theres a strange occurance.
Whenever I add the mods Computercraft or Chisel the blocks and items shown on the right bug out. There are huge pockets of empty blocks that stil show names and ids when you hover over it with your mouse and other blocks/items show the wrong texture.
I did a search and disableb mobspawner in the menue, no change. I had the impression that it could happen when you have too many blocks added through mods but it happens everytime I add computercraft / chisel.
If anyone would have a solution to my problem I would be very pleased to hear it.

Hmm..well I'm not sure what it would be..I find it odd that I can update any mod I want except a chicken bones mod...any of them just makes the game not start..no errors...just doesn't start.

This may have been fixed in a later update for minecraft 1.4.7, but I can't seem to find it on the changelog.
I will try to redownload the latest and reinstall, but I am pretty sure that I have the latest available version.
Anyways, thanks for the mod and I can not live without it.

Optifine breaks everything. Only use it if you need it, because it uses some pretty sloppy hacks to improve performance.
