oh look, the previous topic was closed, look out the thought police are back!
Heh, a 1984 reference! I salute you, good sir! Though that book ruined by week, your post made my day, and I just had to reply to it. :wink.gif:
Now, on to what I actually wanted to say, and there's a couple things.
First, a bug of sorts, and I use that word loosely. I am running RedPower2 pr4b, EqEx Vwhatever-is-newest, BC V2.2.7, IC2 V1.43, PortalGun, a couple of IC2 addons, a few BC addons, and single player commands (except I took out the worldedit parts). Oh, and NEI is installed (duh!), with the RedPower NEI addon. Anyways, after going AFK with my computer running Minecraft (for the BC quarries, EE collecters, etc) for a period of time, I come back, and Minecraft is still running fine. I play for a bit, and when I go to type the "fly" command for SPC, I notice a message along the lines of "Error saved to nei.20111231.175912.txt" in the message history. It must've popped up while I was AFK, but not crashed Minecraft. I found the .txt file saved in the .minecraft directory.

What does this mean? Normally, I can skim an error log like this and deduce what the problem is, but this makes no sense to me, especially because Minecraft didn't crash!
The second thing I wanted to post/ask was about the "Item Sets" feature. Because I have so many mods running, I want to eventually have each sorted into their own menu, like RedPower is when you install the NEI addon. I've already got BuildCraft sorted this way, semi-successfully (more on that below). Anyways, in light of how Mojang doesn't want anybody to share their minecraft.jar file, and your legal battle with Marglyph... is it permissible for me to post the custom item subsets I've drawn up, others to post theirs, so people don't need to page through the item IDs and sort and make their own? That would be pretty nice. It isn't particularly difficult, but it's annoying as $@#!% to do.
Third, why is it that NEI can display Zeldo's extra pipes in the side-pane, but can't show them in the Item Subsets dropdown stuff? The ChuckLoader block displays, but the pipes don't. Barring a new version from you (due to the Marglyph debate), is there some setting I can tweak to fix the problem?
Fourth, in case you were unaware, the TMI/NEI debate won't show up for anybody (presumably except for you and him). Could you make it public so we can follow the debate?
Edit: "censored" as per requested by chicken_bones

it looks like you have a mini incompatibility issue. you should fix it soon before it starts to screw over your game AND your save/saves. Google around and see what you can find. It looks like its the code chicken NEI redpower thing thats causing problems.
Due to a current dispute with Marglyph over NEI I am unable to post NEI on these forums at the moment. However, if you use Google you may be able to find something laying around.
Why? It uses none of his code, so get over it you!

Also confused if I need to have CodeChickenCore in the JAR or if I can put it in the mods folder with the rest of the mods (same for NEI, but I hear people are censoring the internet already - even before SOPA is enacted or revoked, so I wont speak of it).
YAY! Not Enough Items is back.
I was gonna post some errors but I say there was the TMI vs NEI problem so I deleted them. Derp.
:3 If I get them on this download I will.

People tend to hate me without ever meeting me. This makes me pity said people.
