We know... please read other comments before placing your own... A lot of mods are not compatible with Forge 1355 because of the changes Forge made to its fluid registry. There are only a few mods that have actually updated this. Use Forge 1291 instead.
Is there any known-to-be-working way of removing items from the NEI list for all clients on both newly created single-player worlds and servers? I have 2 mods in my pack with blocks that show up in the list, clicking on them in any mode crashes the game and corrupts the world irrecoverably. BannedBlocks.cfg, NEIServer.cfg both have no effect and supposedly having bedrock disabled by default it still shows up in the list. This is for Minecraft 1.7.10 with NEI version 1.0.4.90
Hello, I don't know if this is the right area to post this, but I've got a compatibility issue that's bugging me.
When using this mod with Chocolate Quest, everything works just fine, except for one small thing, that's forced me to drop NEI from my modpack. I'm using a 1.7.10 version of NEI, and you may (I'm not sure) have updated to 1.8 now, making that unsupported. I sencerely hope not. Chocolate quest now features NPCs who trade with the player. In the trading menu, an item's cost is displayed below the name, as pictures of the required items. With NEI installed, the costs don't render. And unfortunately, the maker of Chocolate Quest is on a hiates from modding, that is supposed to end around mid-july. I don't know if you'd be able to fix this, or if we'll have to wait until Chocolatin (Maker of CQ) returns, but if it is possible for you to do anything about it, I would appreciate it, and if not, an explanation of what Chocolatin needs to do would also be of great use. Even better, if there's just some config option I need to change. On the chocolate quest forum, the issue with NPC trades is one of the most commonly posted things, and I'd really appreciate a fix of the bug.
Note: Codechickencore and all the other mods dependent on it work fine. The problem's just with NEI.
Also, a more/less technical question:
I'm in the process of learning modding, what does CodeChickenCore do that changes this, and do you support other people using it? While I want to avoid too many coremod dependencies for my mods, any really useful ones would be really useful.
Thanks in advance
Ah, it would appear that you're not available as well, and summer's getting fairly close at hand.
So chances are, Chocolatin will be able to do things with this fairly soon, so this is probably not high priority. Thanks for reading at least!
i see your new but you must post the 'crash report' if anyone is gonna help...that shows nothing.....it should be in your .minecraft/(whatever subfolder)/crashreports folder, please use the spoiler tags to not clog the thread.....without the full crash, just make sure your using the recommended 'universal' version of the mod for the version of minecraft you are playing......until you post a full crash log, thats all anybody can or will can do for you

I seem to be having a CRASHY problem... and i think it is because of a rendering issue with a ender storage model... it happens when i type end into the creative search bar, and when i try scrolling to the bottom of the decorative blocks... HELP!
I can't get Chunkloader to work. Example - my Mana Bean Farm - I go away for an hour or so doing other stuff, when I go back not one bean has been harvested. When I'm there the golems Harvest and Gather just fine.
The screenshot shows the Chunkloader with lasers on - showing it covers the area just fine. Same thing with my mob trap at a spawner - as soon as I go away, all activity stops.
I've also attached a screenshot showing my other mods.
There is no point in using the later versions unless you know the later vision fixes a bug that significantly effects you, or if a mod you use demands a later version (and doesn't have a working earlier version itself).
To my knowledge, with the exception of Forge, these are all the recommended releases for MC 1.7.10
For the most part, everything works fine. I am however getting a strange bit of behavior in game with the Ender Tanks. When I look at them in NEI they say <Unnamed> instead of <Ender Tank> (which seems odd to me) and I'm getting absolutely no Waila information.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix this? It's not a game breaking bug or anything (Like I said, the tanks appear to work just fine), it's just annoying.

It says the minimum version of forge used should be 1355, i'll add a picture...
Practically any mod that contains some kind of fluid(storage) and was not updated after Forge 1355, will crash your Forge 1355. (I know that Tinker's Construct crashes now)
Only a fraction of the mods that got updated after Forge 1355 actually need Forge 1355 to work properly. We would be talking about only a handful of mods among your 190.
But suit yourself.
OK. First of all, Thank you for the advice, but things are not better. As my grandfather would say, "No worries, just sunshine".
I spent 2 entire days trying to figure out which mods to downgrade in my pack with zero success. The main problem is that the majority of mods are not listed with the recommended forge version suggested in their download. It's very difficult to weed out the culprits when this is the case.
I did, however, solve the problem. I decided to leave ender storage out until it is updated and left my pack "As Is". That was 2 wasted days that I could have spent playing instead of raging. Oh well, at least I still get to play. I just have to rethink my strategy on item and liquid transport. Peace.

Use Tesseracts from the team COFH mods, they work better and look cooler, in my opinion- but are more expensive to make. That's what I did in my pack, but my world is currently mid game so, meh, no problem..
Of course you can always cheat them in if you feel more inclined.

Yeah, I like Tesseracts as well. I won't cheat them in, that ruins the whole "survival" aspect of the game. I'll just be patient and wait until I get enough resources to make them legit.

This game is so oreing.
Hopefully a quick question -
I'm using the following mods:
Forge 1291
EnderStorage 1.4.6.31
NEI 1.0.4.95
NEI Addons 1.12.3.11
NEI Integration 1.0.3
NER 1.0.55
Waila 1.5.10_1.7.10
To my knowledge, with the exception of Forge, these are all the recommended releases for MC 1.7.10

some of these mods dont give you anything but there latest build so how do yo get an older one that runs on 1291?
It says the minimum version of forge used should be 1355, i'll add a picture...
I don't know what mod(s) are causing this...
EDIT: 1355, not 1335
