Requesting that you integrate compatibility between this mod and Thaumcraft 3. It seems like there are lots of tools and armours which simply cannot have Essentia values attached to them for whatever reason and Thaumcraft is a very popular mod so bridging the divide would only make your mod more desirable amongst the community imo.
I'll have to look into adding compatibility with Thaumcraft. I'll put it on my To-Do list
Few requests. Remove stone tools since there more then enough copper to make up for it and to find right away. Add experience to ores. Make it so we can use items in anvils. Oh and I guess fix the crashing of nether furnace. lol

That's impossible, since (I think) copper needs stone tools to mine, so that would be pointless unless you can make wood mine copper.

Uh... Nether Furnaces aren't in this mod, that's Netherrocks. Also, onyx drops experience when mined, and the other ores give experience when smelted into ingots. All the tools can be repaired with anvils.
Same modder for the furnace. lol Right right derp. I forgot you got to smelt them as they don't drop as items. I just tried using them in anvil and they doesn't work. SEE HERE

I always like to skip stone tools and know for a fact wood can get copper. Thats why I made the suggestion and I also know he can disable them since FlowerChild the modder for Better Than Wolves has disabled most the features of 1.5 including some tools for his hardcore modes.

The difference between SimpleOres and Better Than Wolves is the fact that SimpleOres edits a total of ZERO base classes, making it technically compatible with every other mod that also edits no base classes, while Better Than Wolves edits a large number of base classes and is compatibly with very few other mods.
As for the anvils, that may have been an oversight. While I added support for the items themselves, allowing them to be repaired with their respective ingots may not work. I'll look into it.

Onyx tools are the epitome of efficiency. With double the number of uses as diamond, a slightly higher enchantability, and even being slightly faster, onyx tools are well worth your while - if you can get your hands on them.
Onyx armour is likewise very strong, offering higher defence than diamond armour, at the price of a lower enchantability. If you spend enough time in the nether to get so much onyx ore, you will become an extremely powerful mob slayer.

Oh okay that makes sense. Kind of funny you missed that. glad I pointed it out for you then and thanks for putting up with my derpyness.
Oh wood can mine copper. Well you could always use a recipe remover to remove the recipes of the stone tools!
Here's one : http://www.minecraft...c3mcpc-support/
(It's Recipear btw.)
Oh nice. I had no idea of such a mod. Now to find a mod that lets you resmelt tools to ingots for all those mob drops.
So I'm planning a major revision of SimpleOres (AGAIN!!). This will, technically, be SimpleOres 2.0, so it's going to be fairly significant.
The focus for SimpleOres v2.0 will be:
Enhanced balance. While SimpleOres is currently one of, if not THE most balanced ore mod, it can still be improved.
Additional metals. If you read that and groaned aloud and thought "Oh no... not more ores. That was what set this mod apart!" then please bear with me. V2.0 will still contain 5 core ores, same as before, however silver will most likely be replaced, as it is currently the least useful of the SimpleOres ores. There will be a secondary tier of ores though, special alloys. There will most likely only be a few of these, and they will serve very defined purposes, meaning you don't need to worry about them building up and being useless, as once you no longer need them, you won't make any more of them, but their core ores will still be useful.
More focus on additional uses for metals. Some metals because near useless after a bit, and while this can be expected from any ore mod, I wan't to try to counter it somewhat.
Better support for other mods. While this may not be implemented straight off the bat, I wan't to add support for mods such as Thaumcraft, and IC2's Macerator. I personally believe that adding this support will improve the mod greatly, allowing it to be used in those tekkit-like packs people put together, rather than just feeling like an outlier. Really, SimpleOres has a large potential to be rather useful in those packs. Special properties for certain items/blocks is always interesting.
I'm going to be re-writing the code from scratch, re-creating some aspects, changing others, and coming up with completely new ones. Much of the current code is messy and not overly well thought out, a knee-jerk reaction to the changes that come with every update of Minecraft, with me hurrying to work out how to update and get the update out. It needs a re-think, and now is the time.
Related to the point above, I'm going to be going open source with the code. I've always been iffy about doing this. While it's not like I ever wanted to keep it closed for my own gain, it was just extra effort, my code was messy, and particularly at the start, I really didn't know what I was doing. Like you may have heard me mention before, I learned Java and Modding at the same time basically. I had only dabbled with Java before, and many people kept saying "Go away and learn Java before modding", and yet I learned Java FROM modding. Sure, I may be useless at coding anything other than Minecraft mods, but I'm not really interested in coding anything else. If I ever am, then I'll learn to do that.
Anyway, open source is the way I'm headed. I've set up a GitHub for SimpleOres, it just needs modifying etc.
So yeah, a pretty big change. If you have any ideas, let me know, I'm always open to ideas It is possible, however, that SimpleOres may end up being not so simple after all.
And if you're curious to see what the code for the very first version of SimpleOres was like, just let me know and I'll upload it. THEN you will see how the name SimpleOres originated .
As always, thanks for the amazing support guys Love you all (no homo)
EDIT: You can follow progress on SimpleOres II (as I'm calling it now) with this link HERE.
Would you please reconsider keeping silver? Silver is used in many other mods, but most don't allow their use as tools and I personally found silver quite useful for throwing low level enchants on early games. Not only that but could you try to keep all the old ores in their old ids, if possible to make a better transition for people who have spent alot of time collecting materials from your current mod?

Yeah I agree with him on this one. I think you should change one of the other two higher tier ores. They kind of feel like the same thing besides the furnace. I'm using silver for IronChests mod so I would like to keep it as well if not just leave the old IDs.
I would also recommend you consider changing the names of Mythril and Adamantium or tweaking them in some way so that they are inter-changable with other mods that add similarly named ores, like Metallurgy's Mithril and Adamantine.
@AleXndrTheGr8stCould you please add a config option to merge all 4 Creative Tabs into one? That would be much better, because the items are not that many...

Oh my Notch!
I totally love this mod. And, you are right that this mod is just simply awesome. My favorite texture is the Mythril items.
How could of you done better? Oh yeah! you have a whole other mod that can work with this!
mcpc+ build 1.5.2, It makes crash
i hope quick fix
Sorry what? You will have to be more specific, as I currently have no idea what you're talking about. Please provide a crash log as well as a list of other mods your are using.
