Found a bit of a bug in the latest version; the copper bucket eats lava source blocks when trying to scoop them up. Just so ya know, I'm running this along side other mods, so you might wanna check your self.
Hey just wanted to compliment you on your ores mods, and make a few suggestions.
My SMP server runs Mo Creatures, Balkon's, SimpleOres and NetherRocks. Some of the funnest minecrafting I've ever had. I'm more of an adventurer so I enjoy the challenge of finding all the ores and making equipment out of them!
Some suggestions:
1. Your default settings for the ore generation is very unbalanced. Minecraft lost a lot of its difficulty for me because I went straight to bedrock and was soon awash in adamantium, silver, mythril and diamond. The new materials, adamantium in particular, allow you to rapidly mine as well, compounding the effect. Obviously this is easily changed in the configs to your taste, but I mention it because it may give certain people a bad impression. I think the config should start out much more conservatively, and if people want to up spawn rates then they can go for it.
2. Related to the above. I suggest adding Iron, Gold and Diamond ore generation variables to the config files. Since your ores spawn in addition to vanilla ones, vanilla ores should be toned back somewhat because your overall mining brings in much more total ores. You won't need to use iron for buckets, weapons tools and armor anymore, so it shouldn't spawn as much.
3. Your ores need more uses!:
Copper: Doors (weaker than iron), Golems (weak than iron golem), Shears low durability, Rails (Slower than regular rail?), Cauldrons, Mix with Redstone to make special functioning redstone or be able to send a signal longer?
Silver: Silver fences that hurt monsters when they touch it? Makes booster rails as well.
Mithril: Cauldrons that mysteriously hold more water, Chests that hold more items.
Adamantium: Adamantium Minecarts move faster, Adamantium Anvil allows higher level repairs of equipment, or lowers the cost of repairs.
Malachite: Used as a catalyst for potions, providing a duration and effect bonus to potions, but weaker than either redstone or glowstone.
Argonite: Argonite + Slime Balls = 10 argonite resin, which can be placed on walls/floors like torches, and it gives the block blast resistance.
Ashstone: Super efficient fuel for stoves, lasts a very long time, cooks stuff faster, and has a very small chance to double the output of smelting.
Onyx: Nothing since it's the 'best' armor material.
Dragonstone: Nothing since it's the 'best' weapon material.
4. General: Add anvil support for your ores!
5. Other Mods: Add support for Balkon's mods! Adamantium Halberds, Copper WarHammers, Copper Cannons, Copper musket and blunderbuss amunition (weaker obviously), DragonStone spears!
Thanks for all your work, the best and most balanced overall ores mod. Some of the other ores mods support Balkon's, but they don't have the same balanced approach yours does so i prefer yours.
That's strange about the links. They are working for me. It could be because the AdFly site just had a HUUUGEEE revamp. It now looks completely different. There might have been a period where the links were all down. Give them a shot now.
well i dont think its a problem with adfly. tried again this morning, and its still not working. now it says the file was removed and its not adfly, its mediafire that says that.

did some more poking around. media fire seems to be working fine, just downloaded another mod thorugh an adfly link from media fire, however you link to mediafire seems to not be working. i recommend you re-upload it. i hope you do soon cuz i would really like to add this mod to my server!

Shouldn't the copper bucket be able to milk cows and let you have milk (Alternate way to make cakes)? I get the lava thing but dude, you totally spaced out on the copper bucket of of milk! XD Please add this feature for it!
