I don't know if you plan to add Thaumcraft aspects to Simple Ores, but for anyone who is interested, here is a script for setting TC aspects I threw together for SimpleOres stuff using Minetweaker/ModTweaker:
Note that I don't have the new stuff added by Aesthetics, as the list was assembled from the old Simple Ores 2 1.4.3 package, and just recently tweaked to work with Simple Ores 1.5.1+. I will be updating it as I go along.
ETA: Thaumcraft does a nice job of calculating what the aspects for bricks and brick stairs should be from the raw ingredients, so I don't need to add aspects for that. They will remain commented out in the tweaker script.
First I installed MC Forge 10.13.3.1403 for MC 1.7.10
Then I Installed SimpleCore API v1.1.0
Next SimpleOres 2 v1.6.0
Then this happened on start up:

- Added Simple Ores and Netherrocks support for the Orechid. (Sinhika)
I also added some ores from akkamaddi's Additions, but somehow that didn't get mentioned. I left out Illumenite because it spawns in glowstone, not netherrack, and akkamaddi's cobalt because that would probably not play well balance-wise with TiC cobalt. Also left out cthon, because cthon is a Special Snowflake Ore.
Whenever I try to fire a Sinisite bow my client crashes.

Apologies for the absence of late, I'm in the middle of my examination period, and I also inconveniently had no internet for a few weeks.
I know 1.8 Forge has been out for ages now, and 1.9 is potentially just around the corner (though I'm sure it will take months before there's a working version of Forge for it). I just want to confirm that I WILL be updating all the plugins to work with 1.8 once my exam period is over (in approx. a week). It's a lot of work, with a large number of the API classes in particular requiring complete rewrites to work with the new 1.8 systems, along with having to create a bunch of .json files for EACH block and item.
So once again, I apologise for the lateness of the 1.8 update, but it is coming, and proper work will begin on it in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, and don't forgot most of your blocks and items use IDs taken by 1.8, so you'll probably want to change them. This is why my server isn't going to update to 1.8 versions. However, you could make the mod change actual 1.8 IDs that it takes to different values, so you don't have to change your IDs. Just an idea..

ID's are auto assigned since Forge 1.7, so that's not an issue. The IDs will just be different in the 1.8 update, but since Minecraft largely references things by their name and not their ID now, it shouldn't cause any save corruptions anyway. I'm yet to see though.

So you're saying even though your mod ids use 1.8 ids mostly, they will just be moved to new ids while not actually changing to 1.8 blocks?
Hello, hola, gracias, (Insert more 'Hello's in other languages here), AleX, I'm making Faithful 32x textures for your mod, because I really love this mod, and it has been my favorite for years. On my way, I'll also be reviving the textures you had for Netherrocks, which are still available (but outdated), and updating them to 1.7.X's texture language format.
Here's what I've finished so far:
I will shrink this image at request from OP.
Also, the ore blocks have incorrect names. In original MC, it's 'Block of (Material name)' (E.G. Block of Iron, Block of Gold), but in your mod, it's '(Material name) Block' (E.G. Copper Block, Tin Block). That's a minor imperfection I noticed.
Progress has begun on the 1.8 update, however I'm starting from the ground up again. At the moment I'm focusing on converting the API over and giving it some love in the places most needing it, such as the config. The latest version of the API includes an XML config system that I created, however it is a significant hack-job and falls short in a lot of places. I'm now moving to something much more robust, using an XML API called JDOM2, which will be used to make the config operate much better. I'm also creating javadoc for the config system as I go this time, so it is properly documented.
While the API is the first thing I'm working on, I also have some plans for SimpleOres which I will disclose at a later date. Once the API is done, I will work towards getting SimpleOres updated, as it benefits most from the API. The API update is the big task, and once that and SimpleOres are done I will work on the other plugins.
I also have plans for expanding the Machines plugin significantly, though I will also disclose more information on that later depending on how everything else goes. While I'm on my mid-year break from Uni, I'd like to get as much of this coding done as possible.
No ETA on anything yet unfortunately, but I thank you all for your patience.
Whoo-hoo! Thanks!

Really good mod but
the bows+infinity enchantement=dizziness
i will be so happy if you fix it fast as possible
What do you mean = dizziness? You will have to elaborate a bit more.
try shooting with an enchanted bow from the mod & you will know what im talking about.
Wait, wait wait... You're from the west?
How did I never notice this before...
But anywho... I have been looking for a replacement for Metallurgy to give me more stuff to mine...
So I guess I will give yours a shot!
I followed the install instructions. :c
First I installed MC Forge 10.13.3.1403 for MC 1.7.10
Then I Installed SimpleCore API v1.1.0
Next SimpleOres 2 v1.6.0

I am Confused?
Make sure you're using Java 7, you can get it here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html
SimpleCore and plugins require Java 7, Java 6 will no longer work. Try installing Java 7 and removing Java 6, then retry the mods.
This is the same problem I have been having.
#Remember DivineCraft
And in the arena of intermod compatibility, I invite you to check out the latest changelog for Botania, particularly this item:
I also added some ores from akkamaddi's Additions, but somehow that didn't get mentioned. I left out Illumenite because it spawns in glowstone, not netherrack, and akkamaddi's cobalt because that would probably not play well balance-wise with TiC cobalt. Also left out cthon, because cthon is a Special Snowflake Ore.

My Mods: Sinhika's Bark
Ported Mods: akkamaddi's Additions, akkamaddi's Ashenwheat, AleXndrTheGr8st's SimpleCore/SimpleOres/etc
Other Stuff: old/obsolete Ruins templates, updated to Ruins 1.7.10
Whenever I try to fire a Sinisite bow my client crashes.

I just got this crash too.
Hi all,
Apologies for the absence of late, I'm in the middle of my examination period, and I also inconveniently had no internet for a few weeks.
Thanks guys,
-Alex
Oh, and don't forgot most of your blocks and items use IDs taken by 1.8, so you'll probably want to change them. This is why my server isn't going to update to 1.8 versions. However, you could make the mod change actual 1.8 IDs that it takes to different values, so you don't have to change your IDs. Just an idea..
Still playing 1.7.10? Download Et Futurum Requiem for highly configurable backported content!
ID's are auto assigned since Forge 1.7, so that's not an issue. The IDs will just be different in the 1.8 update, but since Minecraft largely references things by their name and not their ID now, it shouldn't cause any save corruptions anyway. I'm yet to see though.
So you're saying even though your mod ids use 1.8 ids mostly, they will just be moved to new ids while not actually changing to 1.8 blocks?

need dis for 1.8 :,c

Hi all.
Cheers guys
