Unfortunately it appears to be incompatible with Minecraft Forge - which makes it not work with other cool mods such as ComputerCraft, and Fran's Vehicle mod(s).
I get the error below when loading Minecraft with Wacky Creepers and Minecraft Forge together.
I installed Wacky Creepers by copying the "Normal Version" folder from your zip into the Minecraft "Mods" folders that ModLoader creates. I installed Minecraft Forge by copying its contents into the Minecraft.jar file.

Both of these things (editable spawnrates and compatibility with ForgeAPI) have been implemented in the latest (and likely last) content update to WackyCreepers which has just been put up on this forum page. In the future I will still update the mod to new versions of Minecraft, but new content is not planned. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and made my first mod such a success!
Just some things about this fantastic mod I'd like to point out. Just for reference, I run only two mods; Single Player Commands and this one. I also only play in 1.2.3, so it's impossible for me to get the Elemental Creepers mod, which this mod is a great alternative for!
1) I live in a mushroom biome, and the Magic, Poison, and Party creepers spawn like crazy!
2) The Party Creeper reminds me of the Cookie Creeper from off of the Elemental Creepers mod, and I've nearly called them that a million times!
3) The Party Creepers and the Poison creepers look way too similar, can you fix this?
4) When I play, I find that the Magic Creepers can give me worse poisoning than the creeper that is designed for this purpose. (then again, I do play on Easy . . .)
5) This mod rocks.
6) This mod still rocks! *insert picture of stickman head-banging*
7) I was mining in my mushroom biome, and for some reason zombies and skeletons were spawning in a nearby cave. There was maybe only 3 together, and only one at a time, but if you know mushroom biomes, then this should be impossible. I even checked the cave to see if I could find any dungeons, but I didn't. Do some of them periodically spawn hostiles?
8) Do Ninja creepers have spawning limits, as in "not in Easy mode" or " not in Mushroom Biomes" or something of that nature? I've only seen 3 types of creepers in my mushroomy home, so where are the other 4? (the 1.2.3 version does not have the Fireworks Creeper, for those of you who are reading this post and are thinking "there are 8 types, those numbers add up to 7 . . . what a noob.")
9) Do they spawn more frequently in darkness than in broad daylight? It seems like I find more in a dark section of something I'm building than in the lighter sections. Is this intentional or unintentional?
----- ---- --- -- - - - - - - - -
If I find anything else, I'll edit and then post it. Thank you for your time.
1) I live in a mushroom biome, and the Magic, Poison, and Party creepers spawn like crazy!
I don't see a problem with this. Would you like them not to?
2) The Party Creeper reminds me of the Cookie Creeper from off of the Elemental Creepers mod, and I've nearly called them that a million times!
Thats nice. However, cake is a million times better than cookies!
3) The Party Creepers and the Poison creepers look way too similar, can you fix this?
I don't understand. To me they look very different. Are you sure that you don't mean the magic and poison creepers?
4) When I play, I find that the Magic Creepers can give me worse poisoning than the creeper that is designed for this purpose. (then again, I do play on Easy . . .)
That is a good point. I might change how long effects last in the future.
5) This mod rocks.
6) This mod still rocks! *insert picture of stickman head-banging*
Thank you!

Maybe the cave was underneath the ocean biome and not actually underneath the island?

If you check the description for every creeper on the main page for WackyCreepers, you see that some of them only spawn in specific biomes. Party and Magic creepers spawn anywhere and the poison creeper was designed to spawn in the Mushroom biome. All others weren't.
9) Do they spawn more frequently in darkness than in broad daylight? It seems like I find more in a dark section of something I'm building than in the lighter sections. Is this intentional or unintentional?
If you ever saw a video where WakkyCreepers were spawning in broad daylight that was because they were using the IncreasedSpawning version of the mod which was designed to make videos about my mod easier to make. The normal version has them spawning at night. However, there is no longer two versions in the newest update to the mod because SPC support functions correctly in the newest update.
1) I was just saying that just to say. It's not bad, I just said it because it's true.
2) Just my thoughts here, but yes, cake beats cookies any day.
3) No, I meant the Party and Poison ones. It's just that both of their base colors is a pale shade of purnkle. (Purple + Pink)
4) K, just makin sure you know.
5 & 6) You are most certainly welcome sir!
7) Well, that is a possibility . . .
8) Well, still. Can't Water Creepers spawn in water? or at least in an ocean biome in the water? Or something? I've gotta tell you, there is plenty of water on that particular map of mine. (think of a survival island type map.)
9) Then again I was in a mushroom biome, so maybe they were just spawning some in daylight because they're the only hostiles that can spawn in mushroom biomes . . . ? Maybe?
Here is the original post for those who are confused.

I currently have plans to add multiplayer some time in the future, but if you are impatient you might want to look at this forum: http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?board=11.0
Post there to have people volunteer to port a mod to SMP.
Awesome, downloaded! to you! But, what are the SPC commands for spawning them, I want to make video review, and this is going to be my first one!
Thanks! You can find the spawn codes in SPC by typing:
/spawn list
This will list all current spawnable mobs (including WackyCreepers) with a number next to it. To spawn a mob, find the number, and type:
/spawn [number]
This will spawn the mob that has that ID number.
can you add a redstone creeper when apon exploding it will shock you (another affect is poison for 1 second) and if you kill it it drops redstone but you have to kill the creeper with a iron sword in order to get redstone (so heres a bunch of creepers for you )
Thank you! =D

No. It was inspired by Elemental Creepers, but I put enough creative effort into it that it is not, in fact, a rip-off.

Oh ok... sorry for saying that is an rip-off
Thats fine. Its a common reaction. I think I've learned my lesson here, and am definitely going a bit more creative with my next mod.

The download shouldn't be confusing at all. Do you mean to say the installation?
