Cool, cool. Btw, I dont know how to code, BUT, I have been thinking about different things in relation to the coding for your mod. For example, I think I know of a way to distinguish the difference between player placed and natural. You could make it so, for all the ores that give non-blocks, that you have to pick up the item they drop as well to get the xp. Now, in order to do that, first, you would have to make it so it had a temporary memory of what it dropped, and whether or not it would give XP. Then, once what it dropped was picked up, you would get the XP if it was going to give it to you.
Not sure if this would: A) Be too complicated or :cool.gif: Be too resource consuming, but, I just thought I would throw and idea out there.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the videos! Ill put them in the front post. I am working on a modloader version now that doesnt edit baseclasses. Also, @Jackfirecracker, I did look at your mod and they are very similar. I hope to make mine more diverse so they are not as similar.
I liek this mod.... Very useful considering how annoying it is to get exp without a mob trap or stuff like that... How compatible would you say this mod is with others?

At the moment, It edits BlockStone, BlockOre, BlockRedstoneOre and ItemFood. Item food is edited because I was adding Exp for healing, But I scraped that feature for now. Im currently workin on modloader support, so it will be more compatible.

ModLoader has no feature for editing the drops of default blocks. It will require modifying the default classes.

Currently I am seeing If I can inherit the onBlockDestroyedByPlayer from block and use it with a conditional IF statement to determine if XP will be dropped. However, If I cant get it to work with another hours work, Im scrapping it and going back to adding features while editing classes.
Also, I really appreciate the support I have been getting from everyone. Be it constructive criticism or just plain support. All of the videos and Banners has boosted my spirits infinitely. The amount of downloads has also done that. I am about to hit 400 downloads and I thank everyone for that. Thank you.
It would be better to just have iron or gold only give XP if the player didn't place it... And yeah, everyone in this thread has probably already said that. I'm saying it again.
