Yeah, I don't blame you. But 1.3 is gonna break all our worlds again so I'm not working on completely terraforming an entire planet in any of my worlds. I mostly make a world with a project in mind, complete the project and then just kinda file away what I learned for when Jeb and his group finally manage to fix Minecraft so that it can be updated without breaking worlds.
So far, building floating fortresses is definitely the most fun thing to do, especially since the anvil format update.
Is it actually?...
Why do you think that?
And yeah thats definitly fun! On my server i own, i tried making a spleef arena high up in the sky, on a cloud, but failed miserably...
Come check my server out some time, the websites springcraft.webs.com.
what elemental gem do we have to use in crafting to get a sacred goddess blade?
Earth Gem.

You still taking suggestions for the farlander mod?
Occasionally the farlander spawns with the camo clothes that Kurt had on for the ultra hardcore series.
I've posted a few times on the FLoB Facebook page about obtaining the camo skin but Kurt hasn't responded to it to my knowledge. I personally want that camo to be an alternative skin for him but it all depends on if Kurt hands it over,

Macapple, not to disappoint you but be forewarned: Starshades isn't accepting any new sword ideas (it says as much in the OP) so don't expect much feedback.
And apparently, special bows are INCREDIBLY HARD to make!
There's plenty to enjoy from the swords available, and Starshades as a few more he intends to add at some point.
Just wanted to update you. Apparently the conflict was the temporary Forge solution with the Millenaire mod. With the full Forge x.69 client, I'm not having conflicts with your mod. Thanks again for updating your mods!
Bows themselves are weird. I wanted the Diamant bow to require a longer draw-back time but I couldn't get that to work right. Nor could I get the animation to work smoothly in conjunction with that (you'd always draw fully back before it was fully drawn?). I'll try re-implementing that in 1.5 (which I think will just be bow updates).
Arrows are foreign mathematics to me. I could never make an arrow fly differently. I can change the launch velocity or heading, but I can't make them do anything fancy like home or whatever. I also can't change the damage they do because that seems to be related to velocity. Well, I could, but I'd rather not wade through the mechanics to make my own specially flying arrows. I'm lazy and the math scares me
That said, I will give you a spoiler for some upcoming bowstuffs:
Grenadier Bow: When fully drawn, it fires explosive arrows. It converts normal arrows into explosive ones so there's no need to keep multiple arrow types. Possibly may require longer drawing back.
Alecto Bow: When fully drawn, fires three arrows in a spread, as opposed to one. Only consumes one arrow in the process though.
names are subject to change, of course

Random idea for passive mobs in Mightier Mobs! / Better Than Testificates / whatever-I'm-calling-it:
All passive mobs eat grass. Eating grass restores a little bit of health. On higher difficulties, passive mobs themselves can starve to death if they don't eat. Baby mobs naturally eat more often than adult mobs.

Mmm, interesting idea. Sounds like something that will give fits to those that like to make farms. Would this include vanilla wolves and ocelots?
BTW, finally got around to crafting my Blade of the Hero. That was fun! Took me FOREVER to find stupid oak trees for the earth elemental gem, then the rest was peachy easy.
Funny thing is I really want Miko's Blade more than the Blade of the Hero, but not for the reason I originally wanted it. A few of my mods add mobs that give out stupendous poison damage, so I'm curious about the "potion" immunity (that's what the OP says; I'm assuming it meant "poison"). Spend a good hour roaming the Nether for Ghasts but only three showed up and 1 Ghast tear to show for it. I think I need to get deeper in the Nether to find those buggers...

No. Tamable mobs would be exempt from this. However, they would mimic similar functionality for aesthetic purposes. Wolves would occasionally gang up on a passive mob as if taking one down to eat it. Ocelots can pick up fish while in water and consume it a few moments later. Neither will be capable of starvation purely because tamable mobs are carnivores and it'd be significantly unfair for them to have to eat to survive.
Coincidentally, tamable mobs will, when tamed, gain the ability to regenerate damage on their own. You still feed them meat to heal them, but in addition to restoring health, the food's saturation value is added to the mob's "regen points". Whenever the mob gets hurt and has whole number regen points, the mob will subtract 1 point every few seconds to restore a half heart of damage.

The Miko's Blade grants potion effect immunity. Any potion effect is negated immediately upon holding the blade. Be it (spider) poison, hunger (food poisoning), fire resistance, strength, weakness, etc; the Miko's blade removes all possibly incurred effects.
This is basically auto-milk. Milk removes any and all effects too. This means the blade is functionally useless if you need to use potions.

There isn't a 1.2.4 version of Swords+. It skips from Swords+ 1.4 for MC 1.2.3 to Swords+ 1.4.1 for MC 1.2.5.
