Stupid Curse.... I will fix the links to the other mods. Check back in like 5 minutes.
I absolutely love going into creative mode, getting a Goddess Gem of Light, and then giving an Enderman the Death-stare! That's hilarious!
Light Gems are freaking amazing like that, aren't they? I had a tough time figuring out functionality for them and the Shadow Gems. It was just like... "what's unique enough for them?".
Also, I had originally wanted unleashing a Shadow Gem to aggro all Endermen in a given LARGE radius against you on a very infrequent occasion but it turns out, it's apparently impossible to get a vanilla Enderman to aggro something from outside objects. All of its enemy-determining methods seem to rely on the player looking at the Enderman and its target is a protected variable.

*was browsing the mods and noticed the 1.1 has turned into 1.2.3/1.1* Ohai, long time no see. :3 *sees shadow gem* >=D *looks at bad effects* ...>_>, stupid darkness being the only thing with a backfire. I hate that cliche in games where darkness always has negative effects when the people who are originally evil are just all fine and dandy about it... but I suppose even I adhere to that sometimes when I make up evil weapons in my mind, cause I suppose you gotta balance those tastily broken effects of evilness somehow huh?
Humm..., was this supposed to happen, or is it a bug?
*palms my face* it seems I am not the only one getting that bug with certain mods... cause an other mod (namely better farming) did that for some reason with the jungle trees too.... I have a feeling it's something to do about modloader being silly about what spots in the sprites thingy are used and not used and so it overwrites stuff it shouldn't and hence gives you this strange texture thing... just try to ignore it. the wood is still wood, just a strange texture... or atleast that was the case with better farming...

Yes i know its still wood. But it looks kinda ugly. If you have a house in the jungle its kinda hard to ignore. Also im not using better farming. The mods i have installed are: Minecraft capes, Modloader (of course), somnia, rei's minimap, what's my light level, optifine, inventory tweaks, too many items and single player commands.

I didn't say you have to have it with better farming, I said that it was a modloader failure or some kind of failure to do with the block texture sheet that modloader overwrites, it for some reason overwrites the jungle logs or something. I just said that I had it happen with better farming. namely in my occurence all the jungle logs were greyed out apple leaves. >_>

I seem to have trouble with the config ore generation. My wrld does not generate swords+ ore and the config is confusing
Ignore all the lines prefixed with "#". Find a line that says "genOre =". A value of 1 sets it on and a value of 0 sets it off. Also, you can go into control options and configure a toggle key that lets you change this without saving state to the config file.
It should default to on.... Perhaps you're just not looking hard enough.

About time you fixed whatever was causing this issue.
Ok, ok.
It's a problem with modloader. Modloader has updated several times unannounced. I recommend you go redownload it and try again.
Edit: Yeah, I just tried it and all my jungle trees are fine
Ah ok, thank you.
....
Just tried it and it works now. Once again thank you.
