I read and this was because of portal gun modd so is there any other way of opening inventory crashing?
It would be caused by portal gun mod, sorry but the only fix right now is to uninstall one of the mods, I have talked to iChun and told him how to make it compatible and he said he will make the changes on the next uptade

I would love to include an error log with this, but it is one of THOSE crashes where it closes itself before i can read it
It just crashes when i click the player to open up the custom screen, only mod i could predict would have conflicts is the mod that prevents dropping items on death, but even then the editing of default class is only for SMP iirc, and you use a custom GUI
It is likely something such as the portalgun mod that is causing the error. If you don't have portalgun it is likely another mod that is using the same method to access the inventory.

Firstly, pleas do not write youe whole message in big writing, it looks ugly and makes you come accross as a little rude. Secondly if you actually took the time to read the entire original post you would know that a SMp version is planned but not for a while, furthermore if you took the time to actually read a couple of posts before (i.e. on the same page) you would know that I just posted about it.
SMP is very different to SSP as i have to take into account many extra variables. In addition I have never coded anything for SMP so I need to learn that first. Finnally I have other projects which i want to do before SMP.
Please pestering me for it, I know people want it but that still doesn't change the fact that it will still likely be a LONG way off.
This is one of my favorite mods... Duel wield and the chance on hit effects are insane with the weapons...
As a side note is there anyway to maybe add some 2H weapons to your mod... would be epic to have a Great Axe/Sword on your back that does like 6 hearts of damage... Just a suggestion (unless there is another mod that does that then I fail)
the 1.2.4 version of this mod seems to work on minecraft 1.2.5 for me

Ok, after testing it, it is indeed the keep items on death mod that conflicts with this, which makes it a hard decision for me.... any possible way of asking for a compatibility patch? or if i ask the creator of that mod will you let them create one?
I need some help downloading the Zelda Shield texture swap, It's not working for me atleast, I've tried moving the contents of the Zelda shield folder into the original various times. I have TMI, player API, Modloader on the .jar.
The original textures work fine, it just won't switch.

While i agree that people deserve the 24 hour pushback plan, it may not be the best, now its asking trolls to come in every 24 hours to ask for an update just to keep it from ever being updated.
Could you possibly make a sheathe configuration where the shield still stays on your arm? it wouldnt be able to be seen in 1st person but in 3rd it would. I just think that taking an iron shield off your back and putting it onto your arm would be a little time consuming.
