See that's why I think an add on to mo creatures would be better (far easier to code). I just want the idea of full on knight with knight's armour, spear, matching shield and barded horse.
As for magic. I have also been toying with that idea, even to the sage of knowing how I would render a staff.

No, they both Forge and elemental arrows both edit the ItemBow class. When it come to the stage when I start using the Foge hooks for the bow (or used in combination with mods that do) there will be major problems. Please do not spread false information.

It seems many people are posting about crashes but not providing me with error logs. I really can't do anything without an error log. Note this will only work for windows users (no plans for a mac version)

Run Minecraft in Offline Mode
Generate a txt file containing all the output from minecraft
Open the text file using notepad.
After that, post the output here (in a spoiler) and I will see what I can do
Alternitivly mcPatcher can be used to obtain crash logs. I will likey ignore any poster who reports a crash but does not provide a crash log. Also note that a even if you do not see the actual log (For example Minecraft just displayes a black screen), it is still likely a crash. Mine & Blade: Battlegear implements an entirely new weapon system to minecraft. Pressing the 'I' button or clicking your player character in the Inventory screen will bring up the Weapon Inventory Screen.

Shield Blocking[/center]
When a shield is equipped shield blocking is activated by holding the right mouse button. While in blocking mode, all damage from mobs is ignored from the front 180 degree arc. In addition movement speed is slowed. Blocking mode cannot be sustained indefinitely as it drains your "blocking timer" based on the shield you are using. The blocking timer apears in the bottom left corner. Using a sword while blocking will make the bar go down slower (by 25%).
[center]Shield Bashing[/center]
While blocking you are unable to attack, instead if an opponent is in front of you you can bash him with your shield by pressing the attack button (default left mouse button). The shield bash will cause no damage to your enemy but will instead knock them back. This consumes 1/3 of your block stamina bar

Shields can be enchanted in the same way as armour. The enchantments however have very different effects.
Protection
Protection I - Can block for 50% longer & shield bash take 25% of the bar (normal 33%)
Protection II - Double Block Time
Protection III - Infinite Block Time
Protection IV - Infinite Block Time & No Shield Bash Penelty
Fire Protection
Fire Protection I - Take 1/2 damage from Fire sources while blocking
Fire Protection II - Take no damage from fire sources while blocking
Fire Protection III - Take no damage from fire sources while blocking & 25% chance enemy will be set on fire (3 seconds)
Fire Protection IV - Take no damage from fire sources while blocking & 50% chance enemy will be set on fire (3 seconds)

A crash log if Minecraft has crashed or Blackscreened (Very very very important)
If your minecraft does not display the error log, try using [url="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5780473/minecraft%20crash%20test.bat"]this .bat script[/url]. It will run minecraft and copy any hidden error reports to a new .txt document (opened in notepad)
Note: If you do not provide ALL this, I will likely just ignore your post or report it as spam.
Q: Where is the config file?
A: The config file is located in the .minecraft directory under the name "Mine & Blade.ini". It will be generated automatically when you first run the mod.
Q: Can you add weapons from another mod to be used in battlemode?
A: Depending on how the mod is coded, some may already work. In most weapons from Balkons Weapon Mod will be flagged as weapons and therefore useable in battlemode.
For weapons that do not work, there is an option in the config file to add the item ids of custom weapons. Adding item ids to the cofig file (currently named "Mine & Blade.ini" and generated after you have 1st run the mod) will flag items as weapons. Ids should be seperated by comma-space.
The line to add ids to is this one

This however will not flag the weapons as duel wieldable, it will only allow them to be recognised as weapons and thus useable in battlemode. There is no way to make some weapons duel wieldable as they have a right click function.
Q: Why can I not dual wield all weapons (eg weapons from Balkons Weapon Mod)?
A: The mod will scan any item flagged as a weapon. If that weapon has a special function on a right click (other than blocking) it will flag the weapon as non-dual wieldable. You will therefore not be able to use the weapon in your off hand, with a shield or with another weapon. This is so there is no coflict with a weapons right click function and CANNOT be changed.
This is the reason you will never be able to dual wield many of Balkon's Weapons or certain gun mods which generall use the right mouse button to fire the weapon.
Q: Can you add my idea for a weapon?
A: No, This is not intended to be a weapon mod. It is quite unlikely I will add new weapons any time soon.

Portalgun mod: Strange way of getting the player inventory causing a crash
Keep Items: We both use the same method to make our changes to the inventory, resulting in each mod constantly replacing the ineventory eventually resulting in a crash.
The Following mods are known to have minor issues with Mine & Blade: Battlegear but are still playable
Dynamic Lights: Torches held in the offhand do not currently give off light
More Enchanting: Shields with protection enchantement higher than 4 will not function correctly
Tropicraft: Offhand weapons do no render in 3rd person
Armor Stand Mod: Only black knight's armor will be displayed
There will likely be some issues with mods that either edit the player model in some form, or preform special rendering with the weapons.

This just means that you have a block ID conflict. Go to the Mine & Blade.ini file and change the number next to the BannerID variable to something else (between about 200 & 250) until you no longer get a crash.

This is only a quick texture pack I whipped up to go along with the x64 pack I generally use ([url="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5780473/x64%20Mine%20%26%20Blade%20Pack.zip"]download[/url]). To isntall just extract the files into your favourite (x64 or higher) texture pack. Pleasew note that I am not the best texture artist. I left the game, reinstalled the missing mod, and the game blackscreened. The mod in question was the Mine Little Pony mod. I downloaded that script of yours to check the error message, here's what I got:
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
So, I'll let you decide what to do about this. I'm not going to use this mod if it means I can't use the Mine Little Pony mod, no matter how awesome your mod is. Sorry bro.

I'm sure there are numerous other potential additions to the mod, but this is just my input.
I am testing it now to see if it works with mine and blade; you should atleast contact the creator of the mod, as I think it would make for a good "expansion pack" to Mine and Blade, if you will. With all the armor and such.
If that's the case, I guess I shall have to go without this glorious mod. Oh well.
If they took advantage of RenderPlayerAPI instead of editing base classes (which they should), there might be a chance, but the animations would likely be buggy.
I know that there is currently no SMP version, but in anticipation for the feature, I think these two small items/properties would really make this mod even better for multiplayer, particularly faction warfare:

Horizontal flags is something I do want to do, but again not a priority. As for the banners in the quiver slot, that was one of the purposes of knight's armour
Okay then, I was imagining a banner extending from the back of my armor and over my head.
Maybe the banners could offer certain auras such as bonus to attack or defense to allies within x blocks, or is that too Dungeons and Dragons-esque for this crowd?

No, they both Forge and elemental arrows both edit the ItemBow class. When it come to the stage when I start using the Foge hooks for the bow (or used in combination with mods that do) there will be major problems. Please do not spread false information.

I have never seen this error before. Did you just pace the zip in the mods folder or did you either extract it or place it in another folder inside the mods folder.

The quiver is still being developed I know there are a couple of graphical issues. I was more wanting to get feedbacks on any game breaking bugs or just general bugs with the mechanics

Please, i need your help, when i gonna play this mod, all the itens, the new itens, the craft, and the R(Change to Weapon Mode) are working, but, when i press E to open my inventory, the equip is the same of the normal minecraft, don't have the correct slots for place the shields, etc, and i tried to install very times, so many times, please help me

It shouldn't matter what its named. Maybe try again without renaming it, but I doubt that will do anything different.
Firstly, do not quote the whole post. Secondly if you took the time to actually read that massive post you quoted, you would know you have to press 'I' to open up the inventory

I have actually told the author of that mod what needs to be done to make it compatible. He said he would make the changes on his next release. That was months ago. If you do want compatibility ask him.
Firstly I am not surprised, as I said in the main post the mod is likely incompatible with anything that changes the player model. Mine Little Pony extensively changes the model. As for the error, that erro is coming up because you don't have java set up properly on your computer.
Just install Balkon's Weapon Mod, it is compatible with this mod and the spears it adds, while not as good looking when held as this mod's, are throwable.
