Bloody hell this is really getting beyond a joke. How hard is it to actually read and follow the instalation instuctions? Your minecraft Forge is too old and you didn't install another dependency, likely RenderPlayerAPI. So you guys are either too lazy or too stupid to read the installation instructions then you come crying to me, complaining that either the mod is buggy or incompatible with something. Well yes, the mod is incompatible with stupid people who can't read and follow basic instructions!
i highly agree that you should only provide link after they prove their worth and knowledge. (buy reading faq)
and not asking stupid questions. penalize those that repeat offend.
I am inclined to agree with you zomb, I will likely place the actual download link in the FAQ, and have instructions to read the announcements (where I will also mention I placed the download link there) and the FAQ sections in the installation instructions. Anyone who has half a brain and actually follows my instructions should have no trouble finding the link. Those who do not will just ask for the link and can easily be ignored (soon as though the admins already yelled at me for reporting posts like that as spam and seem unwilling to do anything about these kinds of posts on the forums)
Ok moved the download link to the FAQ, as I said ignore anyone who can't find it as they would have demonstrated their ability to not read. Report anyone who either has any form of aggression or doesn't use proper English (as spam) otherwise please ignore them.
I have also managed to explain the situation without using the word "download" so people can't just search the word download on the topic post.
I have followed each and every step to install this mod. Yet it does not work. Could someone give me a very detailed run down on how to install this amazing Mod? Just in case if I have missed anything. Please& Thank you.

Yeah, there are installation instructions on the main post and installation instructions for each of the dependencies in the links provided. Just read and follow the instructions

Ok, I made sure to read the FAQ page before posting and I am still stumped. This is the line from the config file that I am trying to get to work.

ValidWeaponIDs=9227, 9228, 9229, 9231, 9232, 9233, 9234
Those id's belong to weapons from the Ancient Forged Items Mod. I have these working with an earlier release of this mod, but now they don't seem to work. Or it could be that I am brain dead and am not doing it right.

I uninstalled everything. because mc patcher was telling me that The render and the player wouldn't work together. also it was telling me that it was an old mc patcher. so I just quit using it after that. i learned not to use it for this mod.

The HD patcher part of MC patcher is incompatible with forge, that is probably your issue. Get a fresh minecraft.jar and install each of the dependencies mannually (or through Mc Patcher but untick HD Texturtes and HD Font and make sure RenderPlayerAPI is below Minecraft Forge).
This is why I ask for more details and a list of all mods/apis/patches
