1.2.5!!!!!! 1.2.5!!!!!!!! i love this mod! but i cant use it yet with 1.2.5!
Minecraft's only just updated to 1.2.5. Be patient. Better yet, if you want a mod to keep working, don't update to the latest Minecraft until all your mods have updated.
I was wondering if you could make it so you can activate the right click function of items with a certain button combo, as i want to use this with IC2 and the nano saber, which drains power while it is turned on, you right click with it to turn it on/off
It seems this post has devolved into either a "make it for SMP" or "Update for 1.2.5". I will address both of these issue

Please stop asking for it. As written in the OP, It is palanned but not for a while as I have another major project I am working on. SMP is a compleatly different kettle of fish than SSP. There are far more variable that I have to take into account. And besides I havn't ever coded anything for SMP (so I have to learn a hell of a lot before I even start it) and until recently could never get SMP working on my computer.
Please respect my wishes and stop pestering me for a SMP version

Bloody hell, 1.2.5 came out while I was sleeping and I am already getting people complaining about it not being updated yet. If you want to play my mod (or nearly any mod out there) don't update to the newest versions of minecraft right away. Before I even start a 1.2.5 version I have to wait for ALL of the dependecies to be updated (Still waiting on Forge/ModloaderMP). Even then I have to find some spare time to actually do the update (and while I am at it fix bugs). For example even if all the requirements are updated by tonight (my time) I will still not be able to do it as I am catching up with a friend (who is far more important to me than this mod)
I am really considering a rule that I saw another modder put in place. He would only update if
The update was ready (to his standards)
At least 24 hours after the last mindless "UPDATE NOW!!" post.
This would be great for 2 reasons, it would (hopefully) stop "UPDTAE NOW" posts and I wouldn't feel rushed to get out a update and end up releasing highly buggy code (like the original 1.2.4 release)

I would rather not. In my opinion some of the weapons added by modders (mine also to an extent) could be quite overpowered. This would be dramatically increased if you allowed a user to have 2 of them at once. It would also require me mapping more keys (possibly increasing incompatibilities). And finally would open up the possibilities of dual wielding bows, which would both look silly and play havoc with the 3rd person renderer.

Not using forge to colour shields would require an extra 16x3=48 spite indices. Its just not feasible. As for banners (in Mine & Blade) I was just having many issues with the banners in a non-forge version so I took them out.
I would love to include an error log with this, but it is one of THOSE crashes where it closes itself before i can read it
It just crashes when i click the player to open up the custom screen, only mod i could predict would have conflicts is the mod that prevents dropping items on death, but even then the editing of default class is only for SMP iirc, and you use a custom GUI

It would be caused by portal gun mod, sorry but the only fix right now is to uninstall one of the mods, I have talked to iChun and told him how to make it compatible and he said he will make the changes on the next uptade

It is likely something such as the portalgun mod that is causing the error. If you don't have portalgun it is likely another mod that is using the same method to access the inventory.
