Actually this is really weird, I shut my computer off and went to sleep, I woke up and started up minecraft and it works fine now, no extra chat messages and the graphical interface is working now o.O
For all those who have this kind of error, just reload your bukkit, and restart your client minecraft. It will work without any problem afterwards.

Yeah, that's it exactly - if you follow the directions it breaks. WorldEdit drops back to chat-mode if you issue that command, and stops sending it on the WECUI channel.
I don't understand this, sometimes I log in and it works fine but sometimes I log in and its broken and doesn't work anymore. Even after restarting my computer.
New version not working! I cant see WE selection, but in chat goes strange message... So, downgrade to previous(1.2.4)...
PS: Anybody knowns how to disable chat message about update WECUI?
Note: If you didn't notice based on the millions of other commenters, the 1.2.5 version of this is an utter failure. The plugin piping is obviously not working properly with WorldEdit 5.3. I can only use the CUI after I reload the server, but as soon as I log out and back in, I have to reload the server again. :/ With 44 plugins, reloading the server is something that I like to NEVER do.
Regarding the issues with the old purple chat messages appearing, I've determined this to be a bug with WorldEdit itself, as it clears the channel support when a user quits, but doesn't re-enable it on the second join. I've submitted a patch to WorldEdit, and it will hopefully be fixed in the next snapshot build of the plugin.

Its not working for me at all, as in I install it. EI copy the class files into the jar, run the game click a region and nothing happens at all. No error, no crash, no box, only word edit telling me I have selected point one which is normal.

Just issuing a /reload fixes the server.
