Yetanotherx, I don't know if you have heard of Spout, but it is an api for multiplayer similar to bukkit, and it soon will no longer require bukkit. It allows modders to add in custom blocks items, and such to multiplayer for those who use the spoutcraft client.
Unfortunately worldeditcui does not work with the spoutcraft client since it isn't compatible with modloader, so right now I'm having to change between my spoutcraft and minecraft exes when I need to do worldedits. So I was hoping you could take a look at spout and see if it would be possible for you to make a version that works with the spoutcraft client. Here is a link to their client addon(mod) FAQ

The problem with Spout is that a lot of people do not want to be forced into a client other than the default Minecraft client. Also, it prevents other mods from working and assumes the player is cheating or xraying on the server, making them use a preset client (which can include forced texture packs).
IMHO, Spout is not necessary. If the admin/owner of such a server thinks so, they do not know how to admin their server properly, nor do they have the plugins to prevent such problems. I will never install Spout on my server because of these reasons.
It does exactly what it is supposed to, and it does it well. for that.
However, the old Lahwran versions also produced a (debug) log containing regular chat messages. I used this (with a few macros) to produce html and bbcode records of various incidents on the server I moderate on. Having instant copies /lb reports was particularly useful since these seem to be deleted (v1.42) after failed rollbacks, and under other as yet un identified conditions.
Will you be adding an option to log regular chat in addition to CUI events, or should I look for another method of chat logging?
um.. '//sel cuboid' to clear selections seems to work fine for me..
the polygon select (display) still seems to be broken tho, im gutted : (

off topic, ppl that use this/w.e./voxsniper etc should really look into the key macro mod and or pie4mc mod if they havent already - using that/those aswell makes all this soooo much faster

Can you add options for changing the color and alpha of the selection areas? My eyesight's not so great, and when I'm working through walls or near any other low-contrasting texture it can be difficult to tell where the selection area ends.

Apologies for the response. I get asked to support Spout literally more than once a day. It gets quite tiring to give the exact same answer each time.

I've added a configuration property to change the colors, and it will be in the next version.

In the future, CUI may be implemented natively into WorldEdit, using Spout. Until the API is done, that will not happen.

"//sel" works, but "//desel" and "//deselect" are showing "Cuboid: left click fort point 1, right click for point 2", instead of "Selection cleared.".
So the selection is not cleared.
Without, the selection is cleared with the 3 commands.

No, that's not within the realm of this mod. I'd suggest ChatLogger by wd1966 (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/123409-v181-wdmods-creepers-sneak-and-chat/), but that author seems to have dropped off the end of the earth.
Polygon support only works in SMP, as SinglePlayerCommands does not support poly mode.

That's a known bug, and it seems to be a problem caused by Minecraft. I'm looking into fixing it.
