I know about the issue but haven't yet identified the root cause I will release a liteloader update once it's fixed. For now just press F3 + S to reload the soundsystem and the sounds will come back.
1) thanks for the awesome tip. Even vanilla minecraft seems to lose it's sound every other restart.
2) After installing Optifine this issue became constant. After removing Optifine I've only had the problem once. Not sure if it's just a coincidence. I would like to think it was, because it's very troubling to play on a low end computer without it.
3) You are a god for the work you put into this, Macros, and Voxel
Okay I'll make a proper new thread when I get five seconds, for now here's the updated version. Consider it a beta because I haven't had a chance to properly put it through its paces.
I've confirmed that it loads and works with LiteLoader 1.6.2 and LiteLoader 1.6.2 chained to Forge, more in-depth testing will be performed at a later date and if there are issues I will release a fix so don't panic if it fails to work in some way. If possible provide logs/stack traces if you find things don't work as expected.
Here's a link to the LiteLoader thread with installation instructions over there. Dump the litemod file in "mods" as with all previous versions.
I can't get either of your Github version of worldEdit CUI to compile in IDE because of missing Maven dependency. com.yethanotherx.spcInterface jar which you both probably have in your local .m2 Repos. Is it possible that I can get a copy? or can you point me to the Repo that is hosting this file?

Don't fix it... tell Jeb to fix it... This is the third plugin I've found that breaks sound in 1.6.2. Zombe's Modpack and ModLoader both mess up the OpenAL sound system by trying to launch it twice or something.
Something that I noticed when things didn't work (even with following the extremely simple instructions)...when I clicked the link to the mod_worldeditcui_1.6.2_00_lite_mc1.6.2.litemod from above, it saved on my Windows/IE (no comments please) system as a .zip file. Simply changing the extension to .litemod made things work all nice-like. Thought maybe I could save someone a few minutes of frustration...
(this is mentioned in the litemod documentation, but I missed it...)
Is there any way I could get a copy of this mod for Minecraft 1.2.5? I love this mod, but for various reasons some friends and I are running an old Bukkit server again, and I don't have a copy of this mod for 1.2.5. The link in the first post is broken...

Hello, just looking for a little support for a 1.4.7 server. Im just curious if there is any information for getting this to work with WE 5.5.5 (the latest version for 1.4.7) as this mod calls for a version that is quite outdated (great new improvements in 5.5). If there is any information here that can help me, itd be much appreciated. If the final result is that i eaither get an older we or go without the mod.... then that will be interesting to see =D
Where the modloader version for 1.6.2? Im so impatient to reinstall it on my client
You didn't read any of these posts, did you? The OP is no longer maintaining this, and Mumfrey, the guy who took over, does NOT support Modloader. Unless someone forks Mumfrey's source for a Modloader version, we won't have one.
Also, thanks Mumfrey for your work on this mod. I may not be able to use it with Modloader, but if someone chooses to fork your project, it'll be a lot easier with the work you are doing on it. Also, those poor forge sobs need something too!
Is there a way to get the liteloader version working with forge?
LiteLoader and forge coexist quite happily, if you run the liteloader installer you can "chain" it to forge so that both loaders get loaded (you can do it the other way too and chain FML -> LiteLoader but you'd need to do that by hand, see the instructions in the LiteLoader thread OP).
Any version you like, all release versions of Forge for 1.6.2 support chaining. The LiteLoader installer detects the most up to date version of forge but you can always edit the JSON file to chain to a different version if that's what you want.

Everything works fine other then needing to remove the META folder to add additional mods. Also doesnt work along side of mcpatcher (which i guess isnt needed any longer). Only mods i need/use is WE CUI, TMI and xray for admining and all work great together minus mcpatcher which i stopped using after 1.6+.
I also didnt notice a sound issue with my install but maybe that only pertains to people using different mods or forge?
Still would love to see your own thread for this mod as this thread is sorely out dated, thanks.
