Like josh I'd like to know that as well. Sometimes I like to just build stuff and use NEI to get items. I hope you aren't purposely making the electric engines unavailable in NEI.
I've ask in their thread if they have any idea, I don't know what the problem is. They have yet to reply.
I would not inflict my personal opinion about the use of NEI on others. You can choose to use it with my mod are not, it's your game, I don't care.

Thank you. Also, I don't expect modders to go out of their way to make their mods work with other mods. It's NEI's problem apparently so they should fix it. :smile.gif:

Now, I'm posting this here because this is the last mod I installed before a somewhat weird issue occurred. I'm not trying to point fingers; just investigating.
I'm wondering if anyone ever experienced intense frame rate issues caused by server lag. Please allow me to explain:
What I know so far:
This happened to me twice when I let engines work for a while. (For example, all day today.)
Also happens with the same world file in SSP.
Removing the mod - or all of them, really - didn't work.
McEdit lags sporadically as well.
Server becomes quite unresponsive. Has very high ping, also. (Which brings me to my next point)
It's like if the game was too busy processing ticks to run smoothly... (*)
Oh, and I've got the required versions of IC, BC, Forge. Also got NEI, and RedPower.
What I'm trying right now is to let the world run without the engine from an older save state. After this, new world with the mod, and after without it.
Am I crazy? If this has already been answered, I'm sorry; just yell at me and I will gladly move along.

(*) Y U no multi-thread, Notch?
On my channel (the channel the vid in OP is in) I posted a how to install tutorial, in it are instructions to change the amount of ram MC uses. Try that.
Also, this could be an issue with your hard drive. MC has a lot of disk IO.
For some reason, as soon as I installed the crossover mod all of my transformers refused to convert energy (ie HV to LV). I have no idea why this is happening, but I have found it increasingly frustrating. Does anyone know how to help?

there is no interaction between this and IC2 transformers. It cannot be effecting them.
Experimental:
IB v0.05 [ALPHA/As Stable As BC 3.x][SSP] Mediafire Link
for MC 1.1, BC 3.1.2, and IC2 1.62/1.64.
I am missing the 4 engines of this mod.
it is only showing Petrol Generator and Oil materializer.
the rest are not showing in NEI.
small electric Engine
Medium electric engine
large electric engine
industrial electric engine
all 4 of these engines are missing.
I have this mod BlockIDs on - 123, 124, and 125 as they where available.
I installed the mod and minecraft booted up just fine right into the game.
I logged in the game as usual and went straight into NEI
to see if everything was running ok and if all items where working or showing in NEI.
I know this is still in Alpha, just reporting on whats happening on my end.
*Update 1
I reinstalled the mod.
and deleted the old config file, to start fresh again,
and for some reason in the new .config file it wrote, its only showing this in the block section of the config code..
Its not self writing the third line on its own.
for the engine blockID config. as shown here below.
I will copy the 3rd code tag manually that its suppose to have in the code block line: engineBlock=125
and see if things pop up in NEI or not.
By the way, the new install made my minecraft go black and then crash out.
Just letting you know.
*Update 2
I manually added the 3rd code line for the engine blockID (engineBlock=125)
and assigned the block IDs that I have available 123,124, and 125 (which belongs to the engines).
and Minecraft boots up fine and goes into the game.
I rechecked NEI, and still no engines to be found.

Can you post screenshot that the mod shows up in NEI? I feel that you might have installed it wrong. If it shows up in NEI then we can move onto the next step.
Here it is in NEI..... only 2 items, engines missing......
here are actual pictures of me crafting them and they dont show up
on the crafting table either.
So something is wrong.

That is RP2 tin and copper, not IC2.
There is a bug with the large engine it uses a regular machine block to craft.
Make sure you are using generators.
Does not matter any more,
I no longer use ic2 & addons and any other mods attached to it and I deleted all the mods pertaining to it.
its permanently banned from my house.
I dont care for it any more.
