Yea, I figured that design, but I run into this problem:
The Particle Box is inside the stair and the water is beneath it and I can't place the reciever.. I made a self refilling pool.. I'll give you the link to the vid explaining my problem :))
Well, one suggestion: You can place the boxes before the stairs and toggle "NoClip" on in the GUI. Then the particles will go through the block.
Also you can camouflage the generator ^^

Oh..... I didn't think of that...But the wireless redstone block will be still showing. lol... Anyways.. I told you my idea and now it's up to you if you'd add it to the mod or not, after all, you are the creator of it. It's up to you

well, I'll have to think about that. Actually I wanna finish v7 of the Clay Soldiers Mod and then update the rest of my mods to the actual MC version ^^

Hi this is 7rogdorTheBurninator and i did a video of particle decoration mod for you and i was wandering if you would want to use it it would help me out a great deal because i just started makings videos and this would help me boost my views hopefully you like the video.
Using 9000 in the config, the items end up using 5160. I tried using 4115 and the items ended up overwriting the vanilla stone axe by claiming ID 275. For fun I tried 19000 in the config and got 15160 in game. The in-game ID seems to always end up 3840 less than the setting in the config. Interestingly that's 256 less than 4096, so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the new ID system.
Also, you list ModLoader as a prerequisite but the newer versions of Forge overwrite and takes over for ModLoader. Even if you install Risu's ModLoader first, the new Forge version overwrites every bit of it. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. For this test build I am using the currently recommended release of Forge 3.3.7.135 which contains Forge ModLoader 2.2.48.135 and Particle Decoration mod 1.2_04, and no other mods. The same tests conducted with Risu's ML installed first don't make any difference in symptoms.
For now I guess I'll just add 3840 to the ID that I want. 7955 gives me 4115 in-game.
Sorry it isn't a very good bug report, but I'm not sure what else I could give you.

Well, that with the IDs are known to me. It confuses me, too because there are now 4096 block IDs possible, but the shiftedIndex does only add the pre-256... I dunno if this could be fixed with this ID fix mod thingy (don't now that name now xP)
That with the pre-requirements are true, you don't need them anymore, just Minecraft Forge. I'll update the thread as soon as I can finish my last mod project.
hey man, first off well done with the mod! Secondly, i made a mod review on this mod for the 1.2 version
and if it could get featured on the main thread it would mean the world to me. Thankyou and well done.

P.S Mod is awesome!
Can you make the particles react to gravity such as creating a particle waterfall?

I think that the bubble particle block should extinguish you.
Look forward to be able to update to version 1.4.2
