About beds not working - can I still use a bed to change my spawn point? I'm fine with beds no longer getting rid of the night, but if I can't change my spawn point, that really cuts down on any inclination to explore the world (since you'll probably die more often with this mod up :smile.gif: )
Installed the mod, Minecraft crashed (not black screen, just a plain old proper crash.)
Uninstalled the mod, reinstalled it, and Minecraft loaded, but ran at about 2 fps before I killed it and uninstalled the mod again. Maybe setting the mob AI to infinite range is causing problems? Dunno.
Seems like a pretty slick mod, though. I definitely want the improved creeper AI because I haven't really seen other mods that provide it. Enhanced zombie/skeleton/etc tracking behavior is in other mods, though. Guess I'll have to use those if I can't get this one to work.
PizzaSHARK:
I haven't had any issues with crashing yet though i did forget to metion deleting the META-INF folder in the instructions. I havent done extensive testing on the client version but I will look into the problem. Thanks for pointing that out.
P.S: It doesnt change the mobs pathfinding. Creepers still use generic pathfinding.
Yes, spawn set with beds should still work (not 100% sure though, needs to be confirmed)
Redrazors:
Why would you want the creepers to blowup even if they are way out of range? and there is no pathfinding for them anyway, they still use the same generic method of getting to you. I just gave creepers the ability to blowup even behind walls.

There isnt anything wrong with the mod on a fresh 1.0.0 jar so unless you have an updated/outdated jar or a mod conflict there isnt anything i could find that caused Minecraft to crash.
I did however find that I need to change the beds to wake you up as there is no option to leave your bed early in single player. I will put this in an updated version of the client and server.

I'd like them to explode at greater ranges if they get stuck, so that they might open a route for other mobs, placing a greater strain on my base defenses. At the moment, I'd have to stand very close to a wall a creeper was behind for it to blow up the wall.
But if it's not possible to code when they creepers are stuck/can't pathfind it doesn't matter anyway.
Added new client mod update which includes a fix for beds. They will now wake you up as usual without changing the time. The page has also been changed slightly. Feedback for future features and fixes are welcome.
Damn name! its supposed to say Salvation4ever. oh well. Hey funwayguy how r u going with the zombie invasion mod last i tested it out it was pretty much complete. so yer u should tell me on steam how its going. Im also coming up with a good mod idea.
Added to do list in the original post. Next updates include; dynamic targeting so enemies change targets according to nearest player, and combatibility for Minecraft 1.1

Would it be possible to have a longer range for the creepers to explode from a larger range if they cannot path to the player? Like 12 or even 24?
