Don't let the name mislead you, this mod adds one thing and one thing only...the hunter. The hunter is basically a human-based mob that is a cold-blooded and deadly killer. The aim of the mod is to make your world more challenging at night-time and reward you handsomely for killing it.
The hunter is, put simply...a beast. He has many abilities and enhancements and more will be added/changed in future updates.
Spawns = Anywhere (night-time)
Move Speed = 2.3
Damage = 7 (3.5 hearts)
Health = 50 (25 hearts)
Drop on Death = Diamond(s)
Held Item = Redstone (keep in mind that he will be given a weapon in future)
Seeing as he does not despawn, as he is a predator, when he kills you, maybe set his health back to full? to increase the difficulty even more? =P, I dont think it would be that hard. just check to see if the player is dead, if the player is death, entityNameHere.health = 50; somethen along those lines
EDIT: thinking about it, you wouldnt even need to use entityNameHere, seeing as you would just do it inside that file... lol
Yep, I just did a google search and checked it out. It's actually really similar to mine. I will be adding new features though that are different to "John".. I would love to see a review of this mod by Gamechap and Bertie, I bet that would be a laugh.
I don't think teleport or overbuffed HP is good... something creative? :tongue.gif: Firewalk and immunities are nice... how about can only be damaged by player? That'd render turret mods useless... but make would him 10x harder.
He should have a great AI... Maybe able to dig into dirt, then when the sun comes up, he ambushes you? And I hope he only spawns on the surface.
