Doesn't work. I have a clean Minecraft, and I install it how you say. I load Minecraft, it gets to the Mojang screen, then Mincraft crashes. Help.
1) Download and install Modloader.
2) Download and install AudioMod.
3) Download RcPlaneMod.rar (Links below).
4) Delete META-INF
5) Open RcPlaneMod.rar and put the "RcPlaneMod" folder and .class files inside your minecraft.jar.
6) Put the "mod" folder inside your resources folder.
7) Winning...

Added a feature where you now can retrieve the plane by just pressing "p".
If you hit your plane it will not be destroyed. It will give you the rc plane item.
Yaw will now result in a slow roll in the direction of yaw.
Tweaked the yaw of the plane. Its now better on the ground and less effective in the air. (To force people to roll to turn)
Fixed the annoying bug where you can not have a plane in each of your worlds.
I CANT FLY!!! I CRAFTED THE PLANE, THE ENGINE, THE RECIEVER AND THE CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!! BUT WHEN I PLACE IT AND TURN ON THE CONTROLLER, IT DON'T FLY AND DON'T MAKE THE BIPPING SOUND!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I don't like is that there is no 3rd person view on the plane, or that you can't roll; but then again, those are already on the list of to-do and such, so no complaints from me!
u should add a thing were u put tnt with the plane on a crafting grid and it could make a kamicasi plane for blowing open other peoples homes on pvp and killin creepers with stile on sp
Hi all. Just a quick update on what to expect in the next version. I'm currently working on different cam modes. It took me a while to figure that one out but it can be done. Only downside is that I have to modify "base" files to get it to work. This might cause compatibility issues with other mods. It will be a temporary solution until I can find another way to get the same results. The new version should be ready any time this week or next week, no guarantees.
I didn't get a lot of time this week to work on this mod. So here is a small update. Be aware it can cause compatibility issues with other mods. Please let me know. Also if you wish you can send me your own texture of the rc plane. I might add it in the next update. :smile.gif:

-Added a cam lock feature, the plane will always be in view once the controller has been activated and three hands will no longer be needed.
-The plane will spawn facing the direction you are facing.
-Model now has dihedral wings.
-Fixed the texture overlay problem on the model.
-There is now a skin template in the "extra" folder. You can now make your own skin. Just rename it to "RcPlaneSkin" and put it in the "RcPlaneMod" folder.
-When the plane crashes it will no longer drop iron and redstone.
-There's a 90% chance for dropping an electric motor and 80% chance for dropping a receiver.
-Crafting has been slightly chanced to make it less expensive.
-New remote control texture added. It now has a light to show when it's on or off.

Absolutely amazing.
