When I turn on the remote and turn on the boat and then hit o nothing happens it just sits there is this a bug
Make sure you are holding the right remote control. Only thing I can think of that can cause problems is other mods.
Anyone what want to customize their controls can download this Controls Gui Mod. This mod will allow you to see all the controls and you can customize them easier.
PLZ PUT THIS IN THE MOD and reed this i sergest that u make a pod if u have ever play mother load on miniclip thats what im talking about
here are my sagestens of what i think it would look like and do! its basikly a pod that mines stuff and puts it in its invetory
*treds over things 1block high not jumps
* as a bit begger that a normal chest
*has traks (tank weels)
*has a drill thats gose down forwerds backwords left and right
*mabye teparary flying like a propeller on the top so u can get to the serface?
* biger than other rcs
* when u get 2 the surface tern it of and right click it with nothing and u get to take all the stuff from its inventory
*runs on fule not electisaty (up to u)
*go's faster than walking speed not relly fast (is on tracks)
* i also sagest that u can make the planes mabye a car and bote that shoots only other vercls or animals mosters not people. good for motly player battels?

There is one thing that it needs, a gui that has a compass that points to the player, a speedometer, a map of the depths, like SONAR, give it like location and real life boat features and it would be a top quality mod that would probably be added into the real game, just saying. Yeah good idea and maybe you can put things in the truck and you can transport items/blocks by right clicking on it and then pressing a button and it comes up with a gui and you can put 1-6 items in (but you can stack) and then you can make it go to a chest (maybe a different type of chest with a little pipe and if you park you truck by it it will take the items from the truck into the chest) and you might need a different controller?
Oh I have a idea.You can transport clay soldiers in planes there are 3 types a small carries 1-2 a medium size carries 1-4 and a big carries 1-6 and maybe a jumbo jet carries 1-10. If this idea was inplented that would be uber epic!
Oh and you should add a submarine and it can look underwater (well duh :biggrin.gif: ) and if you hold o you will float up to the surface and then it acts like a Rc boat. but when underwater it has a light so you can see underwater.

Another cool thing which would also make it more realistic is if you had battery power in the vehicles and you could recharge them.
The templates in the extras folder are used for making your own skins, right? Because if it is, I want to know what area is where on the RC car, plane, and helicopter.

Yes, they are there for you to make your own custom skins. Some of those skins are not up to date and will be updated in the next patch. You can use the original skins as a guide to paint the skin templates. Just remove the "Template" in the image's name and put it in your RCMod folder in your minecraft.jar file.
NOTE for those who can't get their RC entity to move!
Follow these steps below and then report back:
Step 1: Go to your .minecraft folder and rename it to minecraft-copy
Step 2: Run Minecraft and let it download a fresh copy of the game
Step 3: Delete the META-INF folder in your new minecraft.jar file
Step 4: Download and install the latest version of ModLoader
Step 5: Download and install the latest version of AudioMod
Step 6: Download and install the latest version of this mod
Step 7: Run the game and generate a world in creative mode
Step 8: Press "E" and put the RC Car and the Remote Control 4Ch Off in your selection bar
Step 9: Select the Remote Control 4Ch Off and right click on it. You will see a message saying "Remote Control Ch4: On"
Step 10: Select the RC car and place it in your world
Step 11: Right click on your RC Car. Make sure you DON'T have the controller in your hand. You will see a message saying "Rc Car: On" and "ESC: Ready". You will also hear a beeping sound
Step 12: Select the Remote Control Ch4. Your player will automatically look at the RC Car. A good way to double check that everything is correct is my pressing "F5". If you get the chase cam working then your setup is correct
Step 13: Press "O". Not zero!
Step 14: If your RC Car is not moving, go into Options.. -> Controls... and change the "O" to the "U" key
Step 15: Go back to the game and press "U" and see if your RC Car moves
At this stage if the RC Car is NOT moving, please come back here and post "I've followed your instructions to the last letter and my RC Car is not moving."
If your RC Car is moving come here and post "The RC Car didn’t move before but now it does."
Step 16: You can go back and delete everything in your .minecraft folder and copy and paste all the files in your minecraft-copy folder into your .minecraft folder. Then delete your minecraft-copy folder.
If this is an actual issue, I'll be happy to try and solve it.
Will there ever be a light source of some sort for the vehicles? It will be fun to drive around in the dark and suddenly fall into an unseen revine.
EDIT: What modeling software do you use?
A light source is something I will add in the near future. I just want to get a better understanding of how light sources work and how to code it. For the modelling I use Techne.
