just do not want to change the ID of a rather large mode (IC2)
Block IDs can be changed! Open your ModLoader.cfg file and you will see a list of blocks and their IDs - just edit the IDs, save, and restart Minecraft! Note that this may break any worlds that have ChristmasCraft blocks already in them!

hello, look, i installed the mod on my client and vanilla server but when i try to make or take an x-mas objet appears a message : end of stream, what can i do
When it says that the snow may remain behind, does that mean we're going to have to remove snow from the entire server by hand afterward, or will it take care of itself?
I have a small problem and can't seem to fix it. My Christmas lights are open or closed. Never switching. I put a lever/button near and press them, but nothing will happen. Help?
EDIT: And one more thing. I can only break Christmas stuff in Creative mode, in one hit, otherwise I get client crash.
EDIT: I think I've found the problem. The spawn area protection that blocks changing of redstone torches as well as the Christmas lights..
EDIT: Nope, it's not the spawn
EDIT: The problem is SPOUT. The SPOUT plugin makes it crash.
Deck the halls, bundle up in your warm clothes, and prepare for a Minecraft holiday celebration! ChristmasCraft features a number of changes to help you get into the Christmas spirit:
Colder biomes, meaning snow is all around!
New items and recipes for delicious Christmas-time treats!
A Christmas Tree Stand on which to grow your very own Christmas tree!
Decorations, such as Christmas ornaments, wreaths, stockings, and redstone-powered Christmas lights!
The ability to wrap up nearly any item as a Christmas present, and give it as an item or place it like a block!
A new semi-rare friendly mob, the Creeper Claus!
Santa's helpers, the Ender Elves, are here to deliver presents!
Perhaps even a visit from Santa himself??
Also, the snowy weather and seasonal mobs are only available during the month of December (unless you change the setting in ModLoader.cfg)! After that, biomes will return to normal - though the fallen snow may still stay on the ground.

thanks for the explanation:) it turned on SMP
Sorry for bad English
If you're trying to change block IDs in SMP, be sure that everyone is using the same IDs (including the server)!
It's not possible to do automatically, but you may be able to use an editing tool like WorldEdit to delete all of the new blocks and snow.
Thanks for such an awesome mod Newt_Head. Keep up the good work! :biggrin.gif:

It doesn't snow all the time, but wait a day or so (in-game), and it should start!
