first put error reports in spoilers second we're looking at some common id conflict you have to go to the industrial craft config or the thaumcraft config which they both have and change the id of 249 but knowing my history with industrial craft and thaumcraft you'll have more id conflict so keep on looking at the first line of the java and see the slot number and that is the id that is conflicting
Okay, so just started and am playing around. I've watched HOURS of videos and they all say the same thing: "Here's all the wonderful stuff you get at the end, here's all 54 things blah blah blah and for kicks, I'm going to label this as a tutorial!"
Could someone please tell me in writing what do I do with a theory once I have one?
What's the crafting recipe for the Quaesitum? I tried the one in the vid on the op/on the wiki and it doesn't work. I'm running it through the technic pack. Everything else seems to work fine though. And I'm seeing wisps flying around my map, so thaumcraft would appear to be installed.

EDIT: Okay, I figured it out. Sorta. For some reason the quaesitum doesn't exist in my game. Popped up NEI and it wasn't in there. Not sure why, but this is more likely a problem with technic than thaumcraft.
Has something changed with vis Conduit's work? Before I had no trouble getting the vis to flow through the pipe from the Crucible to the tanks but now nothings happening. I even gave myself the pumps in case I need those now but they don't get it flowing either :/
Edit- Never mind I got the pumps working now. Had to turn the game off then back on but it's working.

The Recommended builds of Technic pack do not contain the most recent version of thaumcraft, in fact its actually quite behind in updating. Use a development build, but expect some bugs with spider graphics and such

Uh, a little help? I've got no sound with this mod, and wisps appear to not spawn at all, running this and a few other mods, I'll list them here:
Modloader, forge, Keep items on death, Extra biomesXL,Status effect hud, Rei's minimap, Airship, Twilight forest, This, Treecapitator, Craft guide (The version of the mod in the yogbox),Inv Tweaks, Crystal wing, Better dungeons, Battle towers, Millenaire, Adventure items, Audiomod and Balkon's weapon mod.
I'll tell you if i figure out if i have any more mods.
And i have armor stand, shelf, and spawner GUI, The problem happened before i installed them though..
Oh Jesus Christ! I saw a tinkling light in the sky, punched it, and now I'm being attacked with lightning! Should have checked the wiki first.... Well, this was a very epic first impression of Thraumcraft! Great mod!

You'd probably have to remove the remote control ID from the file though, it technically has 2 block IDs but the creator said it's easy to get rid of the controller if you'd rather have the block ID freed up (or in your case, eliminated).
Just curious, but what's the most efficient way people have found to boost an area's charge as quickly as possible? I'm assuming a whole lotta totems, but to legitimately get a lot of totems in a hurry, I'd have to chop done a whole lot of Silverwood trees.
I know of people who have charges of 100% and more, so I'd like the challenge of trying to do that LEGITIMATELY. Just wondering if there were other ways to permanently boost the vis charge other than slamming down totems left and right. I haven't experimented with potions of purity much since I believe they only modestly improve the charge.
Just curious, I am a complete noob with this mod....but what are the end game items? I didn't want spoilers, so if anyone could direct me to some neat things I could look foward too, or cool items in general, that would be amazing. All I am seeing is this vis and taint stuff, is that all there is to this mod? I loved EE because of all the end game items, but I keep seeing people recommend this mod. Anyway, from the vids I saw it looks amazing so I might just install it anyway XD. Thanks for any help!

You mine them with picks, or you can right-click with a special tool to harvest one crystal from the cluster. You have to research that tool though.
