Thought that items weren't getting enough love in my texturing activity, so I gave all the wands a bit of love...
From left to right: skeleton spawner, wand of removal, wand of lightining, waand of fire, arcane tools, crystalline bell.
(tecnically, I've done wand of ice and earth too, but can't show ya guys since they aren't in game...Azanor, implement them please ;P)
Those look great! Please release it when you feel ready.

Sweet
I can't wait for you to complete that and let us get our grubby vis stained hands on them.
I've gone for the rainbow to symbolize all the elements, and that effect was carried over tothe thaumium and every object made of it....can't wait to do the armor (ROFL)
Oh god we're gonna be dressed up in candy armor!
Also I think they look great considering its your own take on the textures.
While I love the that art, I don't think some fit. The lightning wand and fire wand do not strike me as being lightning nor fire related. And the crystal bell is not a bell. And while I am being bold and critical, the wand of removal while fitting has some colour clashing issues. *shrug*
Gotta remember it's all unofficial textures so really he could make the bell a giant bong *shrugs*
You have to admit it looks good though.

Wait... is that texturing going to be for a addon, or an actual texture pack? o.o
I love the Rainbows >w< But I love my CobbleStone TwT
I'm not bipolar! O-o Ok, maybe alittle bit.... ._."

Nice item textures, but did a leprechaun **** in your vis tank?

Damn, that's coming along really nicely. Those are pretty sweet! I'm liking the rainbow-magic-vis take you've got going on with your textures. Only the fire wand really looks out of place, I think it's because it's shaped like an ankh which clashes with it's violent purpose. It needs to look more dangerous.
When you do the armor (unless you want fruit stripe plate) I'd suggest making the rainbow effect very muted, so it's more like a vaguely iridescent silver. Then trace the edges with your bright, colorful crucible runes.
Nice idea for the armour. I've experienced already with low-saturation rainbow, but it looked quite dead-but the idea to combine it with brighter areas could work sweetly.
Also the ank is a simbol of peace? :v .It's causing more broblem than it solves-time to switch to plan B.
I don't expect to start out with opening monoliths, or even with researching eldritch. But I wanted a start where some of this was available so I could work toward it. I'd like to plant my base where there are a couple silverwood trees, maybe have a monolith nearby.
I figured there's no point starting to build a base, even vanilla minecraft style, if there's virtually nothing from Thaumcraft to be seen in there area. I tried that with my last start, and even though I've found a few crystals and have a regular base going, I can't even get the most basic research going.
I'm having issues making a vis detector/taint detector. I have a crucible next to my infuser, all the items are in the correct spots in the infuser and I'm feeding the crucible an absurd amount of stuff (I've put six stacks of cobble and two of dirt into it so far) and hardly making any progress. Once the infuser's progress bar filled, it just sat there and never completed the item. I broke and replaced the infuser and it's still doing that.

Is there something I'm not doing right here?
I don't know if it's bugged or not, but I haven't heard anyone else having problems with it. However, I will tell you that dirt and cobble are nearly worthless, and it might just look full but you haven't pushed it over the top yet. Keep dumping stuff. Also try melting down sugarcane instead, you're going to need a sugar farm anyway and one piece is worth 40 times as much as a block of cobble/dirt.

I got nothing out of that...
but CobbleStone and Dirt only have a Vis Vaule of 1, and 50% (if I'm not mistaking) is Taint, so you would need alot of CobbleStone (I tend to use about 5-6 stacks) to get the Infuser to make something expansive... Unless you you are trying to make Enchanted Wood or something cheap like that... then you may have a problem...

I dumped two vis crystals into the crucible and the infuser didn't even light up. I don't have enough crystals to afford to keep throwing them into the crucible :/

Pipes could be clogged with taint, you might have left a previous infused item in the infuser's center slot, I dunno. It's possible it's a bug, just seems unlikely that you're the only person to run into that problem.
Also, use those vis crystals to build a condenser, they're worth a lot more vis in a condenser than they are in a crucible.
I feel dumb because I can't figure out ANY recipes. I know about research but what about recipes like the Arcane seal and the Runic Essence? How do I make those

I just tried making enchanted wood and it worked without a hitch. Apparently there's a lot of energy still left in the infuser or something because I didn't have to melt anything down - I popped the wood and crystal in and instantly had enchanted wood pop out.
I'm gonna go kill a chicken and see if I can make boots of striding.

Try 11106
Remove TMI.
Install Recommended version of Forge.Preferable the one the mod was released with.

That's how I have things setup.

That should have been fixed in the latest update.
0.1 vis, actually. It's seriously worth more as a building material than melting it down.

He suggested Sugar Cane.
Huh. This post was really slow.
