Right. I haven't read through all the posts here, so I hope I'm not repeating some of the stuff... anyway, got a few things to report
1. Toggling the minecraft UI elements with F1 doesn't toggle the vis/taint meters.
2. I think getting Void Chests and Void Interfaces is too easy. And the moment you have a single Void Interface, you can just explore more of the world and get stuff from under the obelisks that way. Not to mention that the networked chests quickly lead to a cluttered UI with chests connected from god-knows-where that you have to hunt down and get rid of. I don't see why I would ever *make* Void chests/interfaces with this many around.
3. The wisps are easy to snipe with a bow, even though they now fight back if you are close enough. Maybe you could make them angry at you when you kill enough of them in an area and they team up to take you down or something. That would be cool
4. Research. Without equivalent exchange it's too hard, with equivalent exchange, too easy, but still tedious. Using artifacts for research is IMHO a good idea, but maybe it could play a bigger role and be less abstracted away. For example, you could find an ancient scroll in some ruins. You can't lose the scroll while researching. But after researching enough, you find out what resources you need for it. Then you can go and gather the resources - for example for discovering how to make X, you would get a list of artifacts you need. When you gather the artifacts, you are guaranteed a discovery. The tedium is gone, and the player has a clear goal to achieve instead of watching the progress bar and cursing at disappearing resources. On top of that, the player can't use equivalent exchange to just cheat his way through with endless bookshelves/diamonds/etc.
5. Vis conduits are pointless! Longer conduits don't transport vis properly and shorter conduits can clog up with taint too easily. Maybe provide an improved version of them? Anyway, I ended up with just a big stack of tanks with all the machines attached near the base. No conduits, no taint problems, no clogging problems. Again, why would you ever want to make them?
6. It's been said already, but it would be very nice to have discovery pages even for the normal recipes. Organizing and viewing them in some nice way (tomes, lecterns, whatever) would be awesome.
7. Better integration with NEI so the stuff that you aren't supposed to know is hidden would be nice too. I use NEI as a supercharged recipe book. Right now, you could call it a TC2 spoiler book ~_~
The bugs you report have either all been fixed in previous versions or are know issues I am working on.
Research is also being tinkered with. EE breaks almost anything it is used with - not sure why people still act suprised about that fact.
Research tome is also coming in the next patch.
just repaired my enchanted bow in the Thaumic Repairer... the enchant is gone... is that suppose to happen O_O???
Really? The repairer was designed to keep the enchantments and I actually added quite a bit of code to get that to work. I wonder if something in 1.2.3 broke that. Or a derp on my part as usual
EDIT: Just checked too see what the issue was and I'm not losing enchantments.

Erm no - I have no idea where that dude got that impression.
The totem of dusk just helps build taint - the totem of dawn does the opposite and also helps hedge out tainted blocks
you´re still wondering why people (me included) get theories cause the lacks of more information? xd is normal something was making that effect and not notice it at all.
Actually I spam Totems of Dusk, more that 20 and the taint was not really spreading at all in that zone, until I make a massive number of chimneys. Totems don´t help at all (at least the dusk ones), maybe they need a recheck.

I'm using IC2, buildcraft core and just the pipe "transportation" if I'm not wrong... also missing blocks, wepmod, little blocks, craft guide, rei's minimap, SPC, TMI, zombemod (only cheat and safe) and that's all (out of the modloaders and forge)
also I'm quite sure already repaired something else enchanted and nothing happened... it might be the object/enchantment combination... was a bow with power 1

Doubtful - I tested seveal bows with, coincidentally, power 1.

oh well idgaf... it was actually found enchanted... I'll w8 for 1.2.4 so I can better manage the installed mods with mcpatcher... as long as it repairs the bell everything is fine...
Hey guys, can somebody help me? My items from chests are going missing everytime i exit and restart the game. Items from various mods like Thaumcraft 2,EE2, Buildcraft, IC2, RP2, millenaire and forestry. I also have a few addon mods like ID resolver, NEI, inventory tweaks and additional buildcraft pipes. What is the cause of my items going missing? Help pleaes

But for some reason my game crashes when ThaumCraft is in my mods folder, the game starts fine if I remove it from the folder but still have the other 3 mods installed.

Id resolver is causing that, a few people said they're using it and have no problems, but if you do have the problem it is probably it.

It's working for me. I was actually afraid if i was going to use my enchantment.

Really? I had a crucible filling a tank with a totem of dusk nearby and filters next to the conduits and the tank was filling with pure taint.
