Would be awesome if you could add some sort of temple / relic (Like a stronghold) spawning in each world with this mod, that like.. held the secrets of thaum :3
Just an idea I came up with ^^

(I think theyre the new/old symbols BTW :tongue.gif:)
You would be right, though I call them seals btw.
I just showed three different colors because that is all the room I had in my hotbar :smile.gif:
The number of different combinations are (potentially) 6^3 = 216. In practice it will be less than that, but still a lot more options than before.

Any way you could post another pre-release so we can test for you? Pretty Please?! :wink.gif:

Hehe, unfortunately not. Sorry to dissapoint you guys, but I'm unlikely to make another prerelease unless I have a big bug to hunt down like last time.

I'm crying now. Are you happy? You made me a sad panda. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!!!11!!
In other news, keep up the awesomely good work. :smile.gif:
Btw, the purple "jar" with the black core is the new stabilized singularity. It isn't a grenade anymore. It's little brother is still a grenade though - and now has just as big a bang as the stablized used to have.
The stabilized singularity will have several uses, but in this case it is used to regulate the gathering of vis in the condenser - you might see that once the purple ring of runes appear around the crystal it stops bobbing about. It gathers vis slightly faster with no negative side-effects.
The other "jar" I used to upgrade the condensers with is a Quicksilver Core. It speeds up the condenser a lot, but the rate at which the crystal is tainted increases as well. Quicksilver is another new harvestable resource with several uses.
and YES! A NAME CHANGE FINALLY!
I constantly called them runes and needed to edit my posts to avoid confusion between them and real runes :tongue.gif:
Exactly why I changed it - I kept mixing it up as well. The thing you place on the ground is called the seal, and the little crystals I used on it (placeholder art) is called runic essences.
FYI, a lot of what I showed in this video is still placeholder art - at least as far as the seals are concerned.
Very cool and kinda makes me jealous that I didn't think of it first :smile.gif:
Ya I saw both mods before installing. However I preferred (and still do) manasys over dust mod. I prefer the runestone crafting and execution in manasys. As for the spells.....well both mods are almost identical. I thought the manasys cards looked better than the spell rune with dust mod. Also, I'm only planning on using integration spells with TC; so I have no interest in speed, crop growth, jumping higher etc., since TC already has it.
Finally Armor and Weapon repair spell with manasys!!!! OH YA! I'm in!

I just installed industrialcraft 2. I also have recipe book, thaumcraft 1.2.4, modloader, modloadermp, and forge.
Sorry it looks like I have the most recent minecraft forge and industrial craft doesn't use it.
Ya that's a forge version error. For me I got that with ALL forge versions except one. 1.3.0, 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 all wouldn't work. I found the mystical magical 1.3.14 and it's nice! No smelt issue either.
I just showed three different colors because that is all the room I had in my hotbar :smile.gif:

Okay now you've got me thinking a bit ;P. Can't wait until you git er done.
You should make a type of wand for each type of vis crystal; I.e. a normal vis wand which just shoots a projectile, fire, lightning, excetera :biggrin.gif:
Wow, thanks everyone for pointing out The Dust Mod and ManaSys! I started running Buildcraft recently, because I was curious to see what all the fuss about it being compatible with this mod was about. I like it, its nice, but I feel like they conflict on a conceptual level. You know, oil refineries next to crystal condensers, Combustion engines next to obelisks, it just felt rather anachronistic, for lack of a better word. I'm going to try these mods, as I've always wanted to be a Minecraft Wizard!
Also, awesome looking condensers, Azanor. I look forward to Version 2!

You are also very ignorant. There is a tool you can use to get one, in the "Modding Tips and Tricks" sticky in this forum.
Well how did you expect me to know about that tool?
I also clearly stated I couldn't get a crash report.
But enough of that, I reinstalled the mod and it works right now.
I am such a jerk :sad.gif:

-magic wands (?) again not sure on exact name.
Edit: well that's not it and I can't find it now.ugh!
Well I remember it had a table (similar to crafting but purple-ish). There you made these elemental; stones, orbs, essence's, something like that. You also had to craft a wand then you would place this orb with the wand to get your spells. I believe it had 2 or 3 key commands per wand for diff spells. I believe also the wand did wear and need replaced.
Two things here for Azanor; you know with 4 of these similar, you prolly could integrate something here or there if wanted. Also the magic wands mod was, I suppose, most closest to your mod. It had, again, similar spells but you crafted wands at a special table<<
Lastly I agree with you sigma on some of BC2 not "meshing well". Course I've only made limited items from BC (pipes, quarry, AC table, red engines). I agree with you that I don't want a fuel refinery next to my thaumcraft.....or even alchemy for that matter, heh. However with Thaumcraft's Thaumic generator, you don't need fuel and oil really. I just run the quarry on vis.
I suppose in the end it would depend on which mod a person considered the "primary" one.
hope to help
thx

I suppose I should mention there are actually 4 total "spell type" mods. Not sure which are SMP though, other than manasys.

1) Giving you all the valid seal/rune combinations from the start.
2) Just telling you what each rune does and letting you discover the combinations yourself.
