I am making a map, and I have a part where you mine up a block, and when you do that you have to return it to a npc that already has a dialogue. How to I change the npc without being in the game?

I think it'd be pretty cool if you could make a survival version, so you'd have to get the DNA of the custom NPC that you wanted to make, clone it, then set it to do things like defend a certain area, tell people stuff, build a city and trade things that you give them.
Great mod and if I ever become a youtuber then I will definetly be using this mod!
First I would like to say that his Mod is one of my most favorite of all the mods I have ever used for any game. I think the creative aspect and power of Custom Npcs perfectly compliments Minecraft's spirit.
Thank you Noppes, for creating this.
Anyway, I have a question about scripting and dialog(the kind in the dialog window). I have npcs who's responses and available dialog options need to be determined by scripted if statements (such as if it is raining, the result of a Math.random() or if the player has an particular object in their hand).
I was able to do it using a clumsy mix of scripting and built in dialog conditions, but I was wondering if there was a direct way to do it using scripts. Specifically anything like the following:
-Change the availability conditions of dialog eg. dialog.timeAvalibileCondition = "Night";
-Change a dialog's text eg. dialog.text = "String";
-Show text in the dialog window eg. npc.dialogSay("string");
-Start or Close dialogs without player prompt eg. player.StartDialog(3); player.CloseDialog();
Thanks to anybody for reading all that, and thanks to anybody for responses.

The wonderful world of dialogs ! Well I got a few examples on my video page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5Ar_nk7O9xGsX3KBM_qxxw
Using mostly dummy dialogs to control availability of other dialogs. One of the most powerful (possibly!?) things is the (somewhat secret) command
/noppes dialog show daotdlog 1 ABC
which could be run in a script - this will show me (daotdlog) the dialog 1 as if it came from someone named ABC - have not done much with this but it could be quite versatile if you thing about it. I don't have any time to give any concrete examples but a few weeks ago I was trying to hack in to the dialog JSON thru the java backdoor and Noppes showed me a easier (?! (no really it probably is ) way of at least accessing and changing the main text in a dialog with:
var dialogController = Java.type('noppes.npcs.controllers.DialogController').instance
var dialog = dialogController.dialogs.get(somedialogid)
dialog.text = "some new text"
This is the #1 mod out there. Combine this with flans, a good resource pack, and some map making tool, and you are set for map making life!

Andd is there a way for a NPC to summon lightning around him I plan to create a sort of "Apocalyptic Doom Bringer" type of NPC Capable of killing Tons of Npcs, Destroying Cities etc. And summoning of multiple TNT which is already activated when summoned
If you require aid with Custom NPC's give me a shout (In the thread, not PM's). I can read a bit of error reports, know most of the NPC workings (I'm attempting to work on scripting) and have been using it since its 1.0 version. Otherwise I'll help with any questions or problems I can.

npc.executeCommand("/summon PrimedTnt ~ ~15 ~ {Fuse:45}");
How this is activatded?, now there is the tough one.
Sorry, still don't understand "How to I change the npc without being in the game?"
I want to change what the npc's dialogue is without needing to do it manually, or just delete the previous one, and replace it with a new npc. Something like that

I do not know if you can replicate this bug.AFAIK, this only happens with zombie textures (/monstermale). I tried reinstalling the mod, and deleting all the NPCs files, but it did not work. I get the same bug after reinstalling.
Can you help me or at least me give a clue of what is happening? Thank you in advance!

Is there a way for a Npc to not get damaged by ranged projectiles unless the Projectile is set to have a damage of 300+?
Since i am planning to create Tank Models for Npcs, There must be Anti-Tank Guns cus not everyone has Rockets blowing up towns in a World War.
Tanks arent affected by bullets so i estimate a Anti-Tank gun will do a damage of 300+
There must be some Scripting Sorcery able to do this. (1.7.10)

Does it work with IPad?
No. This is a PC mod.
How would you make a wvyren for Mo'Creatures a npc?
If you need to contact me pm me.
If you're talking to me quote me so I know why you're talking to me.
You choose a dragon as npc-animal. Then select the Wyvern skin.
Hey Noppes ! I have a question , do you work on 1.9.4 ? because this a better version of 1.9 ^^
Support Ice and Fire , This is terribly awesome !:D

This is going to prevent both ranged and melee damage below 300 - no way to tell the diff. I think (put in damaged tab)
npc.executeCommand("/summon PrimedTnt ~ ~15 ~ {Fuse:45}");

Hello Noppes!
Minecraft 1.7.2
