Hey Nopples, could you add the option for indicators to appear above an NPC's head or somesuch under certain circumstances (damaged, in combat, has quest ECT.)? I'm making a map and I find that it'd be too much "what's going on" if I don't have some sort of pointer such as that.
I have been thinking of adding waypoints, but Im not sure what features these waypoints will have yet and what they will be like ingame.
That doesn't sound like what I meant. A waypoint would probably either require a lot of unnecessary work on your end, or a result too inflexible for my purpose. I'm talking some sort of visual indicator of available quests or other details of an NPC. Hopefully you can find an easy way to do it

Of course I know, I thought about adding crystal NPC's at the entrance of every dungeon, but converting at anytime would be much more handy.
But a follower wouldn't be a good thing, I don't really want to have follower only for converting coins.
I guess its a little like skyrim, it'd be amazing if there were people to sell stuff too in lairs/caves/dungeons etc. But thats just the way it works and I think you're trying to turn an npc mod into something more like an adventure mod

It's not really like skyrim. In Skyrim you can take so much gold as you want with you, and in Minecraft only a few slots.

With the added coins, a converter would be great.^^
For the money conversion problem, i think noppes would be able to make the satchel like a chest that opens on right click and you can only put coins in it.
Hello!! I'm new to the forums, and I don't know if this has been discussed, yet, but I have a serious problem regarding the Custom NPCs: all of them from my world have disappeared!!! In both Singleplayer and Multi-player (I use the same worlds for both), all of my Custom NPCs are gone!!! If I use the NPC cloner, some of my saved NPCs are there, but if I right-click with the NPC wand, there is no NPC nearby. It's really frustrating me, because I had over thirty custom NPCs built fro my world, and now I don't know where they are!

That sounds like your world was opened without the mod installed. That makes them dissapear.

Couldnt get it to work properly and the scripting is more useful for making bosses.

Gonna have to learn that now. Also, no matter what I do with a bard, whether its range is 5 or 64 or it has an off distance or not, music always fades when I get like 20 blocks away. Is that also intentional or just something wrong?

Yes with the jukebox option. Try the background music option

Its basically an inventory size problem right, too many coins? I might make the satchel working at some point for coins. Untill than I suggest using something like the backpack mod.

Crap, does that mean all the files for them are gone, and I have to re-make them? If so, is there a way to back-up the NPCs to a separate folder?
Like blocks and items, entities will dissapear if your world is loaded with the mods. There is no way to back them up into a separate folder.
Because it was removed...

Only show when attacking is already in the test version. Coin crafting is not going to work, read the edit on the previous post
