Whenever you get back from Vacation, myself and the entire CNPC community is ready to welcome you home. We're all super excited for the update! I am not asking for the update, I am just putting my excitement out there. I have a minor SSP ModPack that is requiring this to update, so once this is to 1.6.2, I will be thankful beyond belief.
On another note, will the ability to shift click items in areas such as traders and banks be added? It will help a lot once it is implemented, if it will be. If you guys add this, I am willing to wait another few days after whatever ETA you give us.

That would be for users right and not editors? I would imagine it wouldn't work well trying to shift click in the selling and buying items while creating a vending custom npc.
Suggestion: I would like to suggest that it support custom named items such as for hiring a follower I have it set where you can hire via dollars or via a letter named by an anvil "Trainee Orders" though I can also hire using a letter without a changed name.
I wish the NPCs can see doors of other Mods like the Carpenter's Blocks and XtraBlocks EE.These three mods can create a 3D Skyrim-wannabe RPG Maker modpack.
One issue I had was with pet wolves attacking NPC guards when the wolves accidentally get hit by them. I guess you sort of have to choose whether you want wolves or NPCs as guards I guess... =/
Noppes, i noticed that with the 1.5.2 ver of CustomNPCs that some of the models dont work, like the furry model and some of the human models, as well as the monster models. i didn't unzip or mess with anything, i just put the zip into the mods folder generated by forge universal 1.5.2. any ideas?
Quiet with the update begging please, I like this mod just as much (If not more), than anyone else here, but sitting here whining like six-year-olds WILL NOT make the update come any faster, It just makes you look impatient/immature.
Here are your options:
1. Wait for the update like a good little boy/girl.
2. Change back to 1.5.2 and play it with that.
3. Abandon all hope and await the apocalypse.

you need to explain that further, and provide picture/ screenshots of what is happening
If you require aid with Custom NPC's give me a shout (In the thread, not PM's). I can read a bit of error reports, know most of the NPC workings (I'm attempting to work on scripting) and have been using it since its 1.0 version. Otherwise I'll help with any questions or problems I can.

I mean, really. If you create the opportunity for experience points to actually DROP from npcs, why not create a place where you can use them.

A fine group of ideas, sir. Although people have already made Shops using Experience Lvls within Vanilla. They're pretty basic.
I don't quite understand the idea of the Teleport things. If you want one-way teleports, just hook up a standard one, then use a permenant splash potion of invisibility on the location you can't teleport through. If this isn't what you had in mind, feel free to fill me in more.
I believe that buying Teleports to be opened is a great idea, especially for servers.
Rather than an NPC levels shop, perhaps there could be an item block dedicated just to that function... maybe something like a "custom vending machine" that drops out items you pay for.
He means that if you set a follower to only follow you when you give him a paper with the name "order",you can also hire him with a piece of normal paper. Making it almost inpossible to make a follower as reward for a quest.
So what. Why couldt we have a nice compact shop with the npc's? I know how exp shops look like/work. But you need a huge wall for a shop that sells just as much as a normal npc. And npc's are 1 block compact shops
Did I say that making experienced based shops was a bad idea? No. I said it is possible within Minecraft. Almost every aspect of this mod is possible within Vanilla, but this makes it simpler. Command Blocks are the basis of said claim. For people who aren't as advanced with redstone or don't have enough space, NPC's are the way to go. If you don't want to step on a pressure plate or push a button to teleport, NPC Power. Even the Wireless Rdstone Block Thing is possible to create. Also, 2 Villagers take up the same amount of trade as an NPC and NPCs take up less space. Also, no offense, please correct your grammar.
Here's and idea, Lets say I had made a nerfed version of a spider, but I want the spider to only respawn if the "cobweb" Is not destroyed. So the Player would have to destroy the "Spawner/Different Block" In order to stop Foes from spawning? Has this already been implemented or is this a good idea?
Currently the cloner tool is not working. Its still being worked on. If you find any other bugs, give a clear description of how to replicate it.
Note that textures are no longer loaded from the .minecraft/customnpcs/mob folder. If you want to add textures or music create a resource pack and include them in there. Ill make a tutorial on this later. For people familliar with resource packs, create an assets/customnpcs folder and you will be able to select them ingame.
