This mod is not meant for Survival Use as you can create, basically, an overpowered armada if you wanted to. This mod is meant for use by a creative player, usually to design content for a server or adventure map.
thanks for the reply Sinistralis. I see where yr coming from. The only reason i asked about using this mod in survival was because i had heard it was possible. Any kind of modding in minecraft has the possibility to ruin the games balance. i think this mod is one of the best coded npc mods, so I planned on adding some decent guards for villages i build in survival. many of the mods that include this are a little buggy right now. noppes work just seems like the most stable and comprehensive npc system right now.

Hence my point. If you are going to play legit on solo, why not just open creative mode and get the wand and set it up, then remove it?
Mindblow Tip: You can use the wand to make a recipe for the wand. (lol)

And if the test was successful then I would have tested this mod with other mods (more specifically flan's and the backpack mod). However I can only imagine the crashing had to do with either player API or TMI and if you know which caused it please let me know.

how do i make npcs u see i dont have flash player so i cant watch vids
if not, i'd say get as it can really help you in many situations were you can't be told what you could watch (meaning no one can explain it), if its your pc not being able to use it, bad luck. Anyway, you right click with the npc wand , then you should experiment from there.just to ask, has anyone else noticed the change log hasn't updated?

If you require aid with Custom NPC's give me a shout (In the thread, not PM's). I can read a bit of error reports, know most of the NPC workings (I'm attempting to work on scripting) and have been using it since its 1.0 version. Otherwise I'll help with any questions or problems I can.

There has'nt really been any dialogue from Noppes in some time. Either busy or on vacation lately.

Never mind yes I know it's impossible to check every mod but the good news is I just was using the wrong version of minecraft (some mods are wierd in that they would need an update to work properly)

Which means it's been seen a thousand times. Have some patience, Noppes seems to be absent if you haven't noticed >.<
~ The First thing I was suggesting was adding an option that NPC's
burn in the daylight.
~ The second thing I was suggesting was to make a button to enable
a NPC to only appear during day, or night.
~ The third thing I was suggesting was a bar to change the size of the
NPC Nameplate.( I thought this should be addded because when I make
large NPC's their nameplate gets to small to read)
Or you can try making the nameplate adjust to the NPC's size.
~ The fourth thing I was suggesting was to give slime NPC's Animation
To swith from just bouncing or Nether Slime Bouncing.
(If this is already being added ignore this)
~ The fifth thing I was suggesting was making an Iron Golem NPC model.
~ The sixth thing I was suggesting was having a exclamation mark over an
NPC that has a quest. (Much like the ones from world of warcraft)
Also if it is completed it would be a question mark.
If it is accepted but not completed it would look like a grey question mark.
