Why are dialogs a global thing? It makes awkward to use and hard to organize. I think it would be much more convenient to make them npc specific. The only reason I can dream up is that either it has somehting to do with being easier to code or, you want to enable npc's to use the same exact dialogs (which could be done anyway, even if it does take up more time.)
Using his method you can make quests and dialogs between npcs interconnected. You may not know this but behind all game development it's the same way. If anything was to be fixed in the dialogs its being able to click somewhere in the text so you can fix typos without having to completely backspace.
This is what I did, and it still doesn't work. Usually, I don't have problems like this. I have tried reinstalling Custom NPCs and trying another map, and it still doesn't work. This is odd.
or what i do i changue the mod you open the zip of the mod and go to mob/human male and put all the skins there thats how works to me

But Noppes made an easy way to store skins in the actual map. You're editing the actual mod when doing that. When people download the mod, they also have to download your skins and put them into the correct folders and stuff.
I'm having a problem. whenever a place a weapon in my NPC's main hand, it turns completely black. However the weapon in the off hand is fine. How can I fix this?
Yeah, this is a known bug. Noppes will fix it in the next release.
Also, Noppes, is there a way you can change it so that a) the dragon hit box covers the whole dragon and grows with the NPCs when you change the size. Currently, the dragon's hit box is somewhere near it's back legs and it makes it look odd because when it shoots a fireball and it comes out of it's back side. After making it's size to 30 (And yelling "RAID BOSS") it sucks that you have to get between it's legs to hit it.

Hmmm, only thing i can recomend at this point is have Noppes give you an exclusive customnpcs download (via pm link) that includes what skins are loading and which ones arent in the Forgemodloader log (and go from there). He'll be able to help you that way. Maybe pm him.
Any way possible to fix the 1.4.2 Drop Chance sliders. I've dl'd the latest version 1.0 for 1.4.2 again today just to make sure that wasn't the problem. When I try to set the sliders I cannot make them stop moving with the mouse. I have to exit out to get it to stop. so its always stuck at 100%. I saw somebody a few pages having the same problem but didn't see a working solution. ty for your time

Hi Noppes, it's been a long time since I've posted here, I love what you've done with the mod. I was wondering, how is one supposed to add recipes to the carpentry bench? Can it be done in-game, or has it got to be coded?

Hi! I love your mod so very much, and what you've done to it. But when I installed the latest version of it (1.4.4) all of my npc's weapons and capes/cloaks whas completely black . The other mods I have installed is rei's minimap, and optifine (i installed those after Custom npcs) can you please fix this bug?

Hey Noppes, could you help me out here? I've been trying to add custom skins to my save and I've tried it with a whole lot of different ways. Can you possibly give me some random save that has custom skins implemented into the map the right way? I think I need an example or something.
EDIT: Just realized that you don't put the mob folder in a save file. Back in 1.2.5, you had to do that right?
Because now a customnpcs folder is in my .minecraft directory and I tried putting my skins there and it worked.
ANOTHER EDIT: Could you add support for activating the Item Giver through dialog like a role option instead of activating it when you reach a certain distance to it.

man first you need go global factions select agresive and down will say:
Hostile factions
Frienly
neutral
Agresive
select that you want they attack and put the faction Up will say attack hostile factions select it and
THERE YOU GO

I was thinkin about maybe doing a halo themed adventure map but idk, i would need some gun mods and halo mods to be updated with forge.
